We were in this place on New Year's Eve, the apartments are clean, have a great view, and Hermigua is also a very nice town, but I would recommend booking the upper apartments, since then the view to the sea is given.

We stayed for 1 week as a family (2 adults and one child) at the Casa La Punta, in Hermigua. It was a wonderful, comfortably equipped base (kitchen, living room, etc.) for all the excursions we made to Garajonay National Park, nearby La Caleta beach, to the small rural villages of Agulo, Las Rosas and Vallehermoso, easily accessible. Every morning we had breakfast on the sunny terrace and facing the sea and evenings, the appetizer and meals in the beautiful backyard, where a large part of the flowers, shrubs, fruit trees, aromatic plants also grow, all from La Gomera.

The perfect home on a dream island

The stay has been fantastic, our activities have revolved around the park of Garajonay which we have found impressive and one of the wonders worthy of being a World Heritage Site As for the house, there is absolutely nothing that can be improved: The impeccable treatment, the exquisite decoration, the photos of the garden and the terrace do not make them justice, they improve much 'in person', the services are complete and we are very grateful for the huge amount of information about the island and its possibilities that can be read without leaving the house.

Holidays in the Gomera

I traveled to three Canary Islands, staying in various hotels and houses. The one at Casa La Punta in Hermigua was by far the most beautiful experience. I booked on an internet portal several months before and was immediately contacted by email by the owner, who made himself available to provide me with any information useful to my stay. I asked him for a suggestion for a car rental and he provided it immediately, actually very useful. Some days before my arrival at Casa La Punta in Hermigua he contacted me again to provide me with all the instructions to get to the house, finding me open the species of Hermosaurus and the keys to the house at my disposal.

An Unforgettable Holiday

(Unfortunately) we spent a week in this very cozy and well-equipped holiday home in Hermigua, and we felt very comfortable. The friendly and always phone-friendly owners obviously thought about what you need for such a comfortable vacation. This ranged from the good kitchen equipment (even a toilet) to the washing machine to the internet-enabled computer and a rich selection of brochures and literature on La Gomera. As parents of a 1.5 year old child, we were particularly concerned about baby bed, baby chair, baby bath, staircase protection and rent-free food. But we also liked the upstairs furniture - obviously there was a lot to do.

All this and much more can be found in the LA PUNTA CASA, in Hermigua (La Gomera). Tranquility that invades us when contemplating the unique valley of Hermigua at dawn with the Teide in the horizon. Comfort because we are relatively close to the Capital, San Sebastián, the Cedro Forest and the villages of Agulo and Vallehermoso.

It is a wonderful stay in a very comfortable house with magnificent views and a very pleasant garden with fruit trees and aromatic plants.We have enjoyed many nights on the terrace, sharing dinners, laughter and chats with friends.From it you can hear the parodies and contemplate a starry sky.The house is very well located to explore the island and has excellent information for this purpose.It is highly recommended to spend a quiet and pleasant holiday.

Casa La Punta is a jewel in a treasure island and words are just not enough expressing how much me and my wife loved the week we spent on this magnificent place. First of all, the people that own this place are a lovely, warm and welcoming couple, in love with the island and their house. Their passion is so visible in everything they do for their guests. They offered us so much useful information that we could definitely say we did experience the best of La Gomera island.

The villa is very comfortable, a very pleasant mixture of rural, manorial and elegant. It best suites the local air of a peaceful canary island, so that one could feel even more the joy of spending time in such a place. This generous but cosy place offered us unique moments, spent on the wide terrace with the breath taking view of the ocean, reading a book in the comfortable armchairs during relaxing evenings, enjoying the mid day or the afternoon in the amazing fruit orchard that beautifully displays different types of trees, flowers and shrubs. The little office is so well equipped with maps, books, brochures, guides of La Gomera! 

Casa La Punta is the best choice one could ever make regarding a vacation on the superb island La Gomera!
We just come back from our vacation, memories are still fresh and baggage still packed :-) 

Special notes: The house is perfect for 2 couples. Me and my wife travelled alone so we had the entire villa at our disposal. It was great but a lot of space we did not use.

Perfect vacation

The house is perfect for 2 couples and for couples with children from 7 years old with its beautiful views of Hermigua and its agriculture; the sea roaring beneath the terrace and touching the plataneras and El Teide opposite is a real privilege.

Resort with beautiful views and relaxation.

It is worth visiting La Gomera, with its changing landscapes that will totally surprise visitors. You can take long excursions through the deep forest, as well as sunbathe on its small black sand beaches.We recommend staying in Casa La Punta, with a very pleasant garden, amazing views of the Teide that can be enjoyed from a large terrace, and a very comfortable stay.
