What a FANTASTIC place! It's super easy to find on entering Albarracín with a pay carpark just opposite, which costs 4€ for 24 hours. I went with a friend and we each had separate rooms. Both were just lovely with wooden beamed ceilings, comfortable beds, a TV, fridge, air-conditioning, private bathroom with hairdryer. The views from both of our rooms were spectacular. From the hotel, it is a 5 minute walk up the steps to the heart of the city. Sara, the owner, is very friendly and prepared a really tasty breakfast consisting of a toasted baguette with tomato, oil, butter & marmalade, watermelon, biscuits, magdalena, orange juice and coffee. I would 100% recommend this hotel. I cannot believe how reasonable it is. True value for money 

Best place to stay in Albarracín!

Friendly, small hotel at the entrance of the very picturesque village.
Pet friendly with the river and green areas very nearby to walk your dog.
Very clean and well- appointed room. Small, but adequate and great value for money.

Great value for money

Stayed for only 1 night on the way home from San Sebastian. Very good, clean hotel. Very old building, but nicely refurbished, on the edge of the village with excellent views of Albarracin from the bedroom. Just a short, but easy uphill walk into the village. The price of the double room with ensuite bathroom was only 40€. Breakfast was excellent value at  3,50€ and I highly recommend.  Very cheap parking right in front of the hotel. 


Excellent value, and good location

I stayed at Meson Del Gallo six months ago and meant to review it earlier. We very much enjoyed our stay there and I hope that the hotel has remained as good as when we were there. The location is very good and rooms facing the street enjoy a great view and there is hardly any traffic noise. The bedroom was cosy and comfortable, the bathroom was newly refurbished and breakfast was ample and the best value anywhere! Would like to stay there again especially that the town and surrounding area are beautiful and worth exploring further.

A smart and comfortable hotel at budget price

This is a good clean hotel in Albarracin, with a good breakfast and convenient free parking just across the road. The hotel is in an excellent location for the attactions of the region. The hotel is small but the rooms are very nice many like ours with a view of the cathedral.

Good hotel in Albarracin

The good... Easy parking, modern bathroom, adequate facilities in the room, location is good as you do not need to drive into the town itself and it within a short walking distance to the town centre. The near by park and the bunk bed was also a highlight for the kids.  

The bad... This is where it gets tricky, i am not sure whether it was in fact a policy of the hotel for smokers but there were people smoking inside the facility, which was disappointing as it made the room smelt like cigarette with 2 kids with me. If this was only a one off then sure enough it was just unlucky. Other than that it was a good place 

Overall- Not a bad place to stay. It had everything we needed to rest after hiking. The breakfast was also OK and the dinning room is nicely set up, I mean it is extremely basic even for 3 euros compared to other places in Aregon, and the coffee wasn't great, you would certainly get something better but it saves you from walking into the town if you just want something quick before hiking for the day as it is just down stairs.

We really enjoyed our stay in Albarracin.  The hotel is right on the main road as you arrive but we didn't experience much noise (although we stayed Sunday and Monday).  The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good value at 3 euros, for coffee or infusions, toast and orange juice.  There wasn't much else around the hotel although there is a great walk you can do along the river.  The room had everything we needed, including extra pillows, blankets etc if you need them.  I'd definitely recommend this place.  The restaurant downstairs is now completely separately owned.

A great option in Albarracin

This small hotel is at the foot of the old town of Albarracin and has a free car park directly opposite.
Our room was very comfortable with a very modern bathroom. The staff were helpful but, unfortunately, the restsurant was closed.Breakfast was a typical Spanish offering of bread, jam and, for reasons I can never understand, synthetic orange juice.
Albarracin is a delightful town to wander around even on a cold January day but it was quite difficult to find restaurants open.

Charming little hotel

Albarracin is one of the most amazing places I have visited in Spain. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and secure. The owner and staff were attentive and helpful. The location is very central to all the attractions but, given that the town is on a steep hill, everything is always uphill lol although it is just a short walk to anywhere in town. The price was exceptionally competitive with breakfast and free wi-fi included. Highly recommended.
