Loved it here.  We were traveling with my 83-year-old mother, who is quite difficult to please, and even SHE loved this place.  
The family went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy.  The service was personalized and sincere.
Rooms were comfortable and clean... "extremely" clean.
Breakfast selection included homemade jams, cakes and bread... it was delicious!
I must say, one of the best parts of our stay was just hanging out with the hosts; so friendly and caring.
I highly recommend a stay at Hotel Valdevecar!

Friendly, family-run hotel

No English spoken but that's not a problem.
Free a plentiful parking off road.
Very clean simple rooms.
Unfortunately any noise rattles through the hotel so didn't sleep very well.
We had a downstairs room, big mistake every time someone above flushed the toilet the water came down the pipe through the room, very noisy.

Wanted somewhere just outside of town

Although this hotel is about 20 minutes walk to the centre of Albarracin, it suited my needs perfectly.  I wanted somewhere quiet with convenient parking and at a reasonable price. Another benefit was that I found the family that run this hotel very friendly and helpful. This hotel doesn't serve meals other than breakfast and due to the time of year, the restaurant around the corner was closed and I was advised not to use the restaurant at the hotel across the road. My only option was to go to Albarracin and I didn't want to drive there, so the owner offered to drive me there. It was very kind of him, but I fancied the walk and was told that due to the small size of the population, there were no taxis in town and I would have to walk back. If you intend walking up and down the streets of Albarracin, this walk will be no problem. I would certainly consider staying at this establishment again if I were in the area and would recommend it's consideration to anyone looking at this.

Quiet, clean and friendly

This hotel was very clean and the price was great! At first I as disappointed when I realized that it wasn't in the main part of Albarracin but the 4 minute drive didn't matter because parking was easy to find (it doesn't appear that way but follow the parking signs). I would stay here again!
