The room was spacious and clean, with a nice and clean bathroom as well. The wifi worked quite reliably. The location was perfect - a few hundred meters walking distance to both the port and the train & bus station. The pillows were a bit too big for us - having a smaller pillow would have been nice.

A very good basic accommodation

I checked the reviews and took the plunge, family of 6 in 2 rooms, 4 adults 2 children. Rooms were basic functional and clean, single beds, reasonable nights sleep.  check-in check friendly. Happy with price for 6 persons.Just one stay overnight here on the way out to Ceuta the next day. Cafe next door with Colombian staff and arepas went down a treat for breakfast. Would stay again. Traditional market just outside the hostal entrance in the morning gave great atmosphere!

A pleasant stay and nothing unexpected to report.

I stayed here as a stopover from Spain to Morocco. It may not be the best place in town, but it suites the purpose. This hostel offers relatively clean rooms, air conditioning, good showers, free wifi. 

If you want in-room wifi, book a room on the first floor. The second floor is too far away from the server. The staff is very friendly and will help you with everything you need.

Breakfast isn't served here and the location isn't great. But it's a 5 minutes walk from a picturesque square, here many restaurants serve food.

The biggest bonus of this place is that it is a two minute walk from the ferry to Morocco. This is very efficient if you are in Algeciras for that purpose.

Good for the Algeciras-Tangier Transfer

Stayed for two nights on our trip to Gibraltar. We didn't expect much, when booked room in Hostel. In fact, it's more like pension, all rooms are en-suite. It is a budget place, but well kept. Bathrooms and tiling in rooms look recently refurbished, generaly good standards of cleaniness. Owners are very nice and polite, nothing is a problem, they even gave us choice which room we would like. It's not very attractive location in town, but for good price you stay in safe and clean place. Easy access to ferry, bus, train, shops and restaurants.
