Stayed one night as part of the camino. The hotel is ok, but a bit run down. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms and showers small. No airconditioning. Breakfast was served, and very limited. Little gluten free options.

Run down

We arrived at this hotel on bicycles whilst do theing the Camino Primitivo. The staff watched us struggling to bring the bikes inside without helping, then afterwards gave us a telling off for bringing the bikes inside. 
Instead of the double room we booked we were given a twin. When we asked for a double room the host (I assume manager) drew a picture and condescendingly explained how it had two beds.
When we highlighted we received a most unfriendly welcome he shrugged and said, 'Pah!'.
The room was run down and we struggled to get the shower to stay on the wall as it kept dropping off.
The breakfast was merely a slice of toast and a piece of cake.
I would never return to this hotel, mainly because of the very unfriendly attitude.

Rude and unfriendly hotel

This hotel has seen its glory days a long time ago:
Rooms are small and poorly maintained, no common rooms, no laundry options.
What stands out however is the complete lack of service orientation, they even have a disdain for Camino pilgrims, especially for families with kids.

Run down and hostile to families

After an epic day on the Hospitàles Route (Borres to La Mesa), a taxi was arranged to take me back to Pola for the night.  Nueva Allandesa is not a luxurious hotel, but it functions well for a two star.  The rooms are dated, but clean. The breakfast was adequate for my needs. This hotel does not purport to be the Ritz, but it filled a need while on the Camino.

A functional place on the Camino 

I stayed here for two nights while walking the camino primitivo and it remains in my memory as one of the worst placed we stayed on our journey. We stayed the second night because we'd walked to La Mesa and were told there was no accommodation there and so transferred back to Pola for the night. We learnt from a couple we met on the road that there's a brand new pension/aubergue in La Mesa which they rated highly. 
The room wasn't bad (very dated and a bit shabby) but the shower cubicle was ridiculously small; a contortionist would have been proud of the manoeuvres required to wash one's feet. The central heating comes on and off at preset times. The weather was cold (few degrees above freezing) and wet. Returning to the hotel in late afternoon after a relatively tough 20km hike through the mountains, my room was ice cold. Awful. 
The only redeeming feature is the restaurant. The host was charming, funny and attentive and the food (pilgrim's menu) was wholesome, hot and tasty (and interesting).

A dump

For a Camino walkers hotel it does quite well with big rooms and bathrooms to spread gear out in. Beds are a bit tired but acceptable. Bar downstairs is laid back and fine, Staff are all ok.
The big shame is the food, the owner manager boasts about the best food in Austerias but no way, he will push hard to give you the set menu ( we weren’t even asked it just arrived), so insist on seeing the menu if you do eat here. Breakfast was included but it’s rubbish.

It’s ok, just dint eat the food

Stayed here on Camino walk. Room a good size, bed saggy and the bath had the shower on the side wall  so you stood sideways in the bath. Rather awkward. Had the pilgrims menu and unfortunately was rather awful. To me it was packet chicken noodle soup, slices of beef over very soggy chips and typical choices for desert. Other reviews talk favourably about the meal but not for us. Breakfast was toast and prepackaged biscuits,muffins etc. 

So so

Interesting hotel...very popular with the locals for Sunday Dinner...which I missed so had to eat elsewhere. Room functional. Staff helpful and a good overall stay with breakfast included which allowed you to pick your own.
