Almunecar

We stayed here for 12 nights in August and it was wonderful.  Manuela & Alvaro are great hosts and keep the house spotlessly clean.  Our room (Cherimoya) was very nice with air conditioning & a small balcony. My sons room didn't have air conditioning as standard as it was the bunk bed room but Manuela arranged for a portable unit to be put in the room as it was very hot during our stay, this was much appreciated by the boys.  Their room was also very well placed as it offers direct access on to the patio and pool area.  Use of the kitchen & all the facilities is also much appreciated when staying for a period of time.  

The casa is an easy walk to the beach or supermarkets and in a nice quiet area away from the main town although we did get a taxi on several occasions to go into town at night.

All in all a lovely place to stay and wonderful hosts.  Would definitely recommend.

Lovely, Relaxing Casa

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at La Casa Roja for two nights in June. The breakfast was a nice spread of cheese, meats, fruit and bread with home made jams and cake. It was an easy walk from the house into town and to the beach. Manuela and Alvaro were very helpful and even helped arrange for us to go out on a sailboat for a evening sail. My girls especially enjoyed playing with Kana, their very sweet and well behaved yellow lab.

I think your benefit is knowing that you'll be back, I'd come back without a doubt, because I've tried many better breakfasts than there, natural and that don't limit you in quantity, and with lo.barato.que is... no lo.encuentras en otro.locares, sincerely, a place of 10.

Perfect Perfect

We spent three nights there in February and both the children and we loved it.The house is beautiful and the treatment phenomenal as well as everything very clean.We recommend it with our eyes closed:).

A lovely room!

We spent 2 nights at this super cozy and comfortable B&B. Manuela & Alvaro were great hosts, very friendly and kindly provided all the info and tips regarding the area. Our room was very clean and the breakfast was simply good. Home made jams were awesome! Thanks Manuela & Alvaro!

Manuela & Alvero are in true sense friends who you can rely upon in a foreign place.They know the town on the back of their hand.Recommend you the best places to visit and restaurants to eat at. We had our best Spanish meal in Almunecar. 

Almunecar should  be on your iternary just  for their place

Awesome is an understatement!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Manuela and Alvaro are great hosts who are friendly and professional. We had a large double room with a view over the town and to the mountains beyond. Breakfast is generous and varied, with different home-made jams and cakes, and it was great to sit on the balcony in the morning with other guests and exchange tips and experiences. We didn't use the kitchen as much as we had intended but it's well equipped.
The house, bathrooms, grounds and pool area are kept very clean. Sharing the bathrooms was never a problem. All the guests we spoke to while we were there were just as enthusiastic about their stay as us. Cannot recommend this place too highly - will definitely be back.

Warm and welcoming

The place is lovely, well furnished, the facilities are new, modern, functional and elegant, the quality/price ratio is very good, and the hosts are always available, efficient and friendly.

I love it and love it!!!

I was in this fantastic B&B for the Easter week. First of all, I really liked the place, unlike the usual Spanish destinations chosen by the Italians, almuñecar is located in the heart of Andalusia very close to the sea and is certainly one of the most beautiful areas of Spain if not Europe. the red house is a new, beautiful and well-kept in the smallest detail, the owners, Manu and Alvaro, are very friendly and always ready for anything, I have never made a better breakfast than this prepared by the owners of this B&B. The prices are more than affordable and the holiday in general, both for the family and for the facility is suitable for everyone, whether they are family friends or friends of Spain.
