Stayed some time ago with friends - lovely comfortable room, simple but very tasty dinner - 3 courses plus wine for €11 !! Plus the lady who seem to run the place almost single handed serves the worlds greatest Gin & Tonic and believe me I have drunk many of them all around the world - worth a trip for that alone !!!!

Excellent place

I just want to say thanks a lot to the reception Lady ( I guess she's the owner.. ) for the usual excellent kindness and hospitality on top! Dinner and breakfast very good!!! Big room, very cleaned, close to many business places...

A NICE COMFROTABLE PLACE TO STAY IN

Lovely hotel. Clean, comfortable and affordable. Situated near railway lines (don't worry they only have about three trains a day) and very close to town centre. Free parking. Room was very clean and comfortale (room 32 has the balcony). Every thing you need from a hotel is here. Staff speak English and very attentive. We ate there in the evening and food was good/simple. Cold meat starter (lots of cold meat), pork slices and chips (literally just that), followed by ice cream cake, all for £9!  Please do not come here if you are used to 5* cuisine and hotels because you will end up giving the hotel a bad revue that they do not deserve. However, if you are coming here to enjoy the beautiful Basque region and need a good, honest hotel this is the place for you.
