A perfect place where to enjoy slow tourism. Come here and reconnect with nature and life. Rooms are spacious and nice. Corte is perfectly kept. Everything is clean and comfortable. Owners are incredibly kind and nothing will be missing during your staying. You will always feel welcome here, 5 stars!

Amazing experience

We cannot recommend this lovely agri-turismo more! Marole and David were so kind and generous with their knowledge and hospitality. They made us feel like part of the family We especially loved the kitchen and pool. We will certainly return!

Amazing

The hotel is a 20-minute drive from the airport in a superb location for exploring Fuerteventura. It has ample parking.

Breakfast was served on an open terrace. There was a good variety of food available along with excellent coffee. The staff were happy to supply alternatives if required.

Our room was simple, comfortable and perfectly suitable for our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no restaurant on-site, but guests have the use of a kitchen and we were given a number of recommendations of places to eat.

Made to feel like one of the family

This is an attractive but somewhat basic hotel but with a warm welcome from the Proprietors.  Adequate breakfast served in the courtyard in good weather - otherwise in the small Dining room.  You are welcome to use their Kitchen for food preparation.  Large grounds are in need of attention.  Note that there are NO restaurants open on a Monday evening within a 5 mile radius.  This is a major problem and should be addressed by the Local Council so that they open on a rota basis.  We had to ask constantly for Bath gel since the maid never left any.

Small 10 room hotel with all rooms on ground floor

We only stayed for 2 nights  but if we had known how interesting it was we would have stayed longer. Malole and David were great hosts and the guests who choose to stay there were also interesting, international and friendly people too. They run an honesty system for drinks and the breakfasts are good. The hotel is an old rural house built in a quadrangle and just makes for a relaxing holiday. Good access to local places to visit and a short drive to the Superdino for supplies. Thanks to Malole and David for making our short stay so enjoyable. xx Chris and Christina

Comfortable, friendly and fun stay at Era de la Corte

Just what a casa rural should be! An old family home in the country with lots of personal touches, common areas and lovely porticoes.  Don’t expect a boutique hotel. There is a big kitchen with a fridge where guests can keep their food and drinks, plates and cutlery, tea and coffee and a nice wine list to choose from if you decide to stay in. We didn’t think we would, but we ended up fixing dinner for ourselves one night as it was so comfy. The owner Malola  lives on site and David who welcomed us was  very friendly and knowledgeable about the island – he gave us lots of information on the best places to eat and things to see and we were made to feel at home. Our bedroom was large and the bed comfortable. A good continental breakfast was served outside and there was a pleasant atmosphere with the other guests sharing experiences.  
The location in Antigua is central to a lot of the island’s sights but a car is recommended and the town itself is not terribly exciting.

Traditional rural hospitality

The many good things about Era de la Corte start with the friendly welcome provided by the hosts, Malole and David. Learning that we had a wedding anniversary during our four-night stay, they put a card outside our room on the day itself, complete with presents of chocolates and a heart-shaped local goat's cheese. They're both multilingual and make a point of making their guests feel at home in their converted farm, built around two courtyards, one covered over to make an elegant and comfortable lounge.
It's best to have a car if you're staying here; otherwise it's a one-mile walk to reach the centre of the village of Antigua, which itself has limited facilities. But the hotel itself is a refuge, and there's a small pool to relax by under the Fuerteventura sun.

A Home from Home

We choose this hotel because of its authentic feel. We weren’t looking for a resort type of hotel and this one fit the bill. The location is also very good, it’s very central and everything is reasonably close by, depending on what you want to visit of course. The hotel is about a 20 minutes car drive from the airport. We had a rental car to get around visiting this island (which we recommend) and we parked it at the gated premises.
The hosts are warm and welcoming and they really made our holiday more memorable. They gave us great tips that matched our interests of places to visit and where to eat and we enjoyed them all. They made us feel at home and feel like guests rather than paying customers. It has been an honor to meet them.
Our room no. 1 had a great view of the garden and a fantastic view of some of the mountains. The room was spacious and cleaned every day. One day we left quite late during the afternoon and when we returned later that evening the room was cleaned. That was so much appreciated.
The breakfast offered a great variety and was served outside, rain protected if necessary.
There was a guest fridge where you could store some perishables and also a dining area if you wanted to eat a simple, non-cooked dinner.
We stayed at this wonderful hotel 22-30 November and the weather was great, around 23°C and mostly sunny. We loved the lagoons at El Cotillo, a great recommendation, where we sunbathed and swam in the ocean. You could easily swim here because of the almost non-existing current. It’s also a great place to see the sun set and walk around. We also climbed the volcano in the northern part of the island, east of El Cotillo and that was a great adventure.
Big thumbs up for you Malole and David, you are truly amazing.

The place to stay when visiting Fuerteventura

In the local style where everyone locs their front gate...we slipped in on arrival through the main gate as a car was leaving....only to find ourselves the wrong side of the wall from our phones-to be able tocontact anyone! We were soon greeted and made to feel most welcome. There is a large communal airy living room and outdoor patio (and swimming area), although used at breakfast the patio is cooler by evening. You definately feel you are exploring and most of our fellow travellers were not British but there was a mixture of languages spoken and the hosts spoke a variety too.
The main downside was the 20minute walk to the village for evening meal which on Mon/Tues is restricted to the local bar food. The local bar atmosphere is great and we returned every evening for a drink...the village restaurant opened on Wednesday -Sunday and served lovely pasta-but we returned to the atmosphere at the pub later! Consider returning after dinner depending on the day you stay.


Protected rural retreat.

Malole is the coolest and nicest host I’ve met! We had a few mishaps (delayed flight, cancelled astronomy tour..) from the start of our trip and she has been so helpful and made our journey memorable. 
Staying at hotel Rural era de la Corte was the definitely the highlight of our trip - beautifully decorated, historically charged, in the middle of the island away from tourists, strategically located to visit all of the island, peaceful... 
The warm hospitality of Malole made it even more special. It was like staying at a friend’s place :)
