We have just spent three most enjoyable nights at CAMPING PLAYA LA ARENA. We are travelling the N.Coast of Spain in a motor home. Our experience could not have been better from the welcome on arrival from Gabriella to our departure today. This campsite is spotlessly clean with all the facilities that you need. The  bonus was the direct access to the vast and stunning beach via steps, situated right beside our pitch. Our intention was to stay one night but we extender our stay as we enjoyed it so much. The terrace bar and restaurant overlook the beach and both the service and food is great. We have e-bikes  and cycled to adjacent towns and beach’s which were also stunning. Isla is steeped in history with beautiful restaurants and bars also. I would highly recommend booking this campsite. 

An experience to remember. 

We came from Navarre leaving late on the same day; the receptionist was super attentive and professional on call and very friendly and kind to the arrival. The plot was super nice, the weather not too good, but enough to go to the beach. Everything clean, beautiful and tidy. We will definitely return, it is a place with a very special touch!!

Escape from the Island

I made a reservation where they didn't confirm it, I called them on the phone and they told me there was a mistake but they did, the next day they called me and they told me there was a mistake with my card and they told me to make the reservation again if I was interested....as I already had in mind another camping ask and booked in this other way simply and I forget the beach arena.Even after 2 days I see they have loaded me up with the preres.Since then he has written emails and called me about 3 times and the only thing that he does is the receptionist hides and gives me largas but no solution, I try to think about what is money for her...in order that they work with the reservation no longer want to or think about how they will be in everything else.

Thieves are thieves.

My wife and I came by chance, they gave us a box of Wonderbox and we chose this site because of the proximity, since we are from the Basque Country. Being 2 stars, we didn't have them all with us and the truth is that we brought a pleasant surprise. - The views to the beach are beautiful and has a private access down a few steps to the beach. - The hotel is simple, but it is very well cared for, clean and decorated with many details. - It has a small supermarket type shop and a small game room with billiards, football, etc... at 1 game. - the restaurant terrace overlooking the beach is very nice. - And the best of all, THE EMPLEADES, attentive, friendly, nearby and general amenities. - In general, a fine hotel for a family, a good quality and/or a good relationship with children is recommended.

Precious views.

We didn't stay at the campsite but we went to eat and it was a very good experience. We ate on the terrace which is spectacular, with views of the beach. The waitress was very attentive and the food was very good.

Good food

We stayed in one of the rooms of the hotel. Terrace overlooking the sea. The restaurant bar has a wide and more than correct menu. If you stay on the terrace you will enjoy in addition to some wonderful views of the silver. The service is good and pleasant. The accommodation has a supermarket, game room and private access to the beach. We were divine. It was all a discovery.

No queríamos irnos was the first time.

As previous people have said the staff just cram u into any space free..
Not a proper pitch...
We left after 1 night n moved to another better site..
Girl in reception was rude, do have to say though the bar man was lovely n tried his best to understand our requests at dinner.. 
Small , crammed inn rude staff would not return..
Toilet roll costs very little update your toilets..!!!!

We have just returned from two weeks travelling in a camper van along the north coast of Spain, staying in 4 excellent campsites along the way, but this one was our favourite. It is a lovely clean, fairly small and friendly site on its own, but it's location is spectacular. Overlooking and with direct access onto a fantastic large sandy beach and clean clear water, we wished we could have stayed here longer. Friendly welcome on arrival, the toilets, showers and washing facilities were all kept very clean and tidy. There is a well stocked supermarket on site and a nice bar/restaurant with a terrace overlooking the beach. Isla is a nice quiet little town to walk into (although it is quite a steep hill to climb up along the road to get there). Very highly recommended site. We will be returning

Camping along the North Coast

The campsite also has a small hotel pictured in the photo. It offers, along with other rooms on the countryside on the first floor, 3 rooms with balcony and sea view at the same price: No. 110, 102, 110. However, 102 is the obviously worst of them. We got this, unfortunately! It only has a two-winged terrace door, no windows and is therefore quite dark. The sea view is only a side view. Also, a window of room 101 looks directly to the small balcony of No. 102 privacy. So definitely request No. 101 or 110, only these dishes correspond to the pictures at the booking stores. Otherwise, it's better to skip! The bathroom is modern and all the furniture is savory. However, the bathroom is half-spainted. The bathroom is served in a 70cm format. What's available for each person is a cup of coffee and a cup of butter, 1 cup of coffee and 2 cups of cereal, 1 cups of coffee and 2 cups of cereal, 1 cups of coffee and 2 cups of barbecue, 1 cups of coffee

Careful with room selection!

This place is very calm with not so crowded beach. People at reception very kind and helpful. The place is awesome, lot of hidden beaches and secret places around. Only 25€ for 2 people in a tent and lot of place. Nice restaurant on the top of a cliff nearby.
