It's a very nice country house with some beautiful scenery.A 5 minutes away is a small village in ISLA where the food is spectacular from the region.The room is normal.They gave me a wing of the parking lot.The breakfast is very good and the service is also.We'll be back.:-)

Precious views.

This is the third time we have stayed in La Robleda and it never disappoints us. The tranquility of the surroundings that invites to rest. The comfort and cleanliness in the bright rooms. The familiar treatment of the owners. Javier makes you feel like in your own home. Finally, a place to return.

 Never disappoint.

Get out of the city and escape to the countryside, walk, listen only to the sounds of animals, relax in the end. The house is tastefully renovated, warm and modern, with green spaces, well-groomed and with its own parking. The room is beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped. The treatment received, discreet but exquisite, as it should be. And a perfect breakfast!!!

Anniversary in nature

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and the guesthouse is spectacular. The house is unpolluted. We were in the Junior suite and we loved it. A cozy place and the owners are very friendly. Although it's a little pricey, it deserves it, compared to what the rest offers.

Anniversary of his birth.

La Robleda is a place of what is becoming less and less.The house is very nice, comfortable, all of good quality and is quite new.The owners are very careful with the details, very kind and attentive.Every detail is taken care of and it is really nice to be in a place where they take care of the customer and strive because everything is perfect.

Holidays in Cantabria

A modern house with a lot of charm and cozy decoration. spacious room, with all the details, comfortable, easy to sleep in. The perfect location to visit the area. The lovely owners, who advise well for visits. A great few days, we will repeat.

Treat exquisite in the perfect place.

I don’t really want to tell anyone, but here goes it’s just a gem you have to go, I sent a message for an evening meal, we didn’t arrive till gone 10 at night due to a delay, but they still did us the meal, and it was all delicious, the price was good too in our opinion. The pudding was home made, and I am dreaming of it again, so I have re-booked just to have the pudding, creme caramel, it is made with a special local cheese, mmm I cannot wait, so I have already booked it. The area about 5/10 mins from the centre of Santander is beautiful, this will become my favourite stop off on the way to the sun.

Amazing

We stayed at this hotel for the second time. Nothing disappointed us. We fell even more in love with this house! Very cozy, beautiful, elegant. Perfect cleanliness. A comfortable bed with beautiful underwear. Many elegant details. Amazing hospitable hosts. Delicious breakfast with homemade baked goods. Nearby are the most beautiful beaches in Spain! Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday!

The house I want to go back to.

We stumbled across this posada and were pleased we did. The owner Javier greeted us with a friendly smile. He proved to be a warm and attentive host throughout our stay. Javier runs the front of house and his wife runs the continental breakfast operation - with finesse. Individual flasks of hot milk and hot coffee ready and waiting for each guest at breakfast. Homemade local delights including Spanish rice pudding with cinnamon. Oooh.... 

The property has a homely feel - tastefully furnished with interesting paintings and collectables. The honesty bar is well stocked. You won't run dry.

The gardens are a delight - full of character with stunning roses, fruit trees, re-visioned wooden pallet garden furniture, vegetable patch and a chicken roost. 

This area of Spain has stacks to offer. It's semi-rural offering easy access to nearby seaside towns and villages; cows, forests and fields provide a countryside ambience.

All in all a great find and top recommendation as a base to explore this area of Cantabria.
