What a fantastic apartment! We stayed in El Centollo and loved it. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and well equipped with everything you need & more. A lovely sun trap roof terrace with an outdoor dining area is part of the apartment. There is a perfect host in Phillipp, who is kind, informative and friendly, I can't wait to go back. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from it all. There are easy roads back or on to the tourist areas but Arrieta is a fishing village where they clean the fish in rock pools on the beach and take it fresh into the restaurants. A few restaurants and cafes, a lovely beach and peace and quiet. Bliss! Make sure you take a stroll to the next village 'Punta Mujeras' and use some of the small swimming areas along the coastline. This is no Benidorm, thank goodness! This is a little slice of real Lanzarote, beautiful coastlines with a backdrop of mountains with fresh simple food and good local wine. If this is on your short list book it, you won't be sorry. This is a place to either rest and recharge your batteries or to use as a base to explore this perfect little Island.

Perfect peace, don't hesitate 

We were fortunate to spend two weeks at the El Bogavante apartment in the charming small town of Arrieta.  This spacious apartment is furnished and equipped to meet the needs of the discerning visitor, including dishwasher and wine fridge.  The sea is literally outside the windows!  Phillip is a gracious host who provided us with lots of helpful information on places to visit.  There are excellent restaurants nearby and a well-stocked market a few steps away  and another good market/hardware store at the gas station.  There is also a lovely roof terrace where you can enjoy the sun.  We highly recommend El Mar y Tu and especially El Bogavante apartment.

Wonderful Apartment in Great Location

Lanzarote is a surreal beautiful island, and in Arrieta, one of the last quiet beautiful fishermen towns left, you can find a second home (almost) floating over gentle waves and the loveliest, most attentive hosts you could ask for.

A dream retreat

The pictures are exactly as the 'real' live venue.  The sea is right outside your window and  the views are spectacular.  The accommodation is well equiped and very well looked after ; the cleaner comes in twice a week and changes towels and has a good clean around.  This accommodation is as good as staying at a hotel.  The owner Philipe is on hand all the time if you need to know restaurant recommendations or other  information.  We stayed for 12 days and used the solarium at the top of the accommodation extensively for sunbathing, drinks etc.  The views here are truly amazing.  El Mar yTu is right in the centre of Arrieta with restaurants, beaches right outside your door, a supermarket selling most things is 2 min walk away.  If you are interested in the beach, there is a quiet beach 500 meters away (5 min short walk) with 2 restaurants.  Go the other direction and you find some good sea pools with all the locals swimming  there in the early morning.  For us it was a great place to unwind and relax.

Just as it says on the tin

This lovely accommodation could not be more suitably named. We stayed in the El Centollo with stunning views of the sea crashing onto the rocks below. The way the studio has thoughtfully been laid out also means you can watch the sun rising over the sea from the bed, just beautiful!
The accommodation is well equipped with lovely modern furnishings and is spotlessly clean.
This is our second visit and will definitely not be our last. Philipp is so friendly and a wonderful host. He was on hand with excellent advice and recommendations and really goes the extra mile to ensure you have the best stay possible. Everything is so relaxing and stress free, a wonderful holiday experience.
Arrieta is a pretty authentic village with a lovely beach a short walk from El Mar y Tu. 
There is a supermarket and some lovely restaurants and cafes. 
For those who enjoy walking or cycling (my Husband hired a bike on this visit) it's a perfect spot.
We also hired a car (which Philipp arranged for us) Lanzarote is very easy to negotiate as it's relatively small. Some particular favourites being El Golfo, Famara beach, Timanfaya National Park, la Geria (wine region) and Teguise.
We love Lanzarote and in particular El Mar y Tu. We would highly recommend this fabulous little haven of peace. Thank you Philipp and Family
