The house is very quiet and well maintained. It is just outside the village and should not receive many pilgrims, in fact they have nothing prepared to eat. They offered us some toast with cheese or chorizo. They were not toasted and were two small loaves of bread and a regular cheese. We were given a sandwich of 8 euros for a tea and the toast. They are carried by some English chavals and as far as we could see they are hunting the American tourist.

A nice, well-groomed caserón, but at the mercy of the unwary tourist/pilgrim.

We were there one night, the next day I had more than 20 insect bites all over my body, I wanted to think that it wasn't there, even though in the morning we saw little blood spatter on the bed, right next to where I slept, my partner didn't get it, but when I read the reviews of other travelers I see that they know that there have been five bites since the month of August and they haven't taken any action to fix it.

No, I do not recommend it.

A delicious stay of 4 days was offered to us in this beautiful and welcoming House, with independent dining, tasty vegetarian dinners and very close to Astorga and other interesting towns to visit.

Each perfectly combines the hostel, a passageway for pilgrims, with the country house for those who want to make a few days' break. The rooms on the ground floor are fresh for the summer with a private bathroom and fully furnished. Accompanied by a somewhat more private terrace in the shadow of a window. With relaxing music to accompany your stay and disconnect from everyday life. The abundant breakfasts, homemade yogurt, toasted bread, honey, fruit, etc. And no less importantly, the sweet and friendly treatment of the person who manages it that makes you feel at home.

Slow life

It is best not to go to the country house in winter. The heating is from batteries and barely heats up with this weather and the house also has no insulation. 2 of the rooms were outside the house giving the door to the outside of a yard x where it got very cold. The only place where it was best was the living room xq had a fireplace. The house itself is fine but not recommended to go in winter.

Quite a disappointment.

Hostel on the Camino de Santiago, located at the end of a village 5 km from Astorga. The place is clean, as are the bathrooms, which are outside. It has a beautiful courtyard, where to rest after the daily toil. I, mistakenly, did not dine at the hotel, but I heard an inviting scent coming out of the kitchen, an impression confirmed by the person who ate. For me, I recommend it. Prices: 12 euros for the bed, 11 euros for the dinner

A fairly decent country house, welcoming enough for the countryside, very well staffed, perfect for a night's rest on the way to the lands of Elron de Rivendel, in the company of the forest elves.

Dozens of pilgrims stop along the way in this beautiful and caring place, which has many rooms to shelter those who make the way to Santiago. The inner courtyard is a treat. He has been there several times giving concerts and it is a real pleasure. He has a small canteen in which to have something fresh and give a corner to the heat of summer. The best always in these places is the cordiality and the human treatment, the team that make up the hospitaleros who work there and that form a super enriching crystal of nationalities and cultures. Only those who have lived the way in some way know. If you pass through this small town, it is essential that you make an act of presence here.

Quietly paradoxically.

Really nothing to complain about. The best thing about the place is the amazing patio. But I'm missing the Camino spirit, there's not really a common feeling existing, which really to me is the most important thing on the Camino.

Wonderful patio.

The hotel is very rustic. nice. clean. on the way to santiago. we cost 12 euros x person. in common letters. dejan carry a dog. if you stay in the garden. everything is very well. muy amables. we have restaurant service. a nice terrace.
