An unparalleled stay, to repeat without a doubt. The management and staff in general are wonderful. Nothing more than arriving makes you feel at home, recommends you according to your tastes and very attentive. The cleanliness of 10, and to my liking, a room with nothing to send to a hotel. The perfect location both to be in the village and to go to other beaches.

We spent the weekend barbecuing and decided to stay at the hostel la Tarayuela, and I must say it was a total success. Very good location and easy parking. Comfortable beds, super clean room, medium fridge with freezer. In addition, Fran the very kindly owner explained to us all the restaurants and beaches we should visit and it was a total success. If we return, we will not hesitate to return to your hostel!

It's the end of the week!!

I booked a room with 2 single beds (the only thing I had left) for €80 a night!!!!! and asked if they could get together. They replied that if I wanted they could give me a room with a wedding bed, but they didn't tell me they were going to give me the smallest room in the hotel!!! The only positive points: the air conditioning, the pressure of the water from the shower and the reception desk. Negative points: everything else. Tiny room, old and dated sleeves, towels (we left them behind the door and didn't pick them up in 3 days), the never-so-small room (which is so nice) that every time I booked my card, the light was so high that the room was in the bathroom, we probably wouldn't have to leave a lot of room for the room to open.

He is extremely dear to us for what he offers.

Given the astronomical prices for accommodation in Zahara de los Atunes, where we would have stayed with our people for the weekend of 12 to 14 July, we decided to stay overnight in Barbate, and this hostel was all a success and at a more than reasonable price. Clean, spacious room (with bathroom), with everything necessary (wifi, A/A, tv,) good and easy location. And Zahara very close. The place is quiet, no external noise and that the room was on the street, accessible parking and close.

An excellent alternative to that.

My wife and I came to spend two nights at this accommodation in Barbate with another family. Both rooms were clean and tidy. Both with air conditioning. At night we were met with a wave of mosquitoes leaving the rooms and returning after dinner, in the rooms there were more. While browsing the internet we learned that this summer the area has not been fumigated and, as a result, there are mosquitoes everywhere. The locals tell us that they use lemon sprays all over the body. It is unpleasant and uncomfortable and you worry if the bites ring. We came with two little girls and it is worrying. If you visit Barbate in 2018, come prepared kit with anti-mosquito kits.

There is no need to go to this hostel with high expectations.... It is a very basic business, with no luxuries focused on making the most money in the summer I was in the largest room, the suite... That was the hostel reception, at the foot of a very competitive car street, with fridge and microwaves The cleanliness was very good The wedding bed was convenient but the sofa bed was only for children Much noise from the outside and the annex rooms I think the price is very expensive for the low quality of service, they do in August in summer.

Knowing that you have no problem.

We were there last weekend, and although the room is small, it is more than enough if you want to use it alone to sleep and take a shower. The bathroom is very nice and has amenities. There is also air conditioning, a small fridge, TV and free wifi, which is to be thankful for. It is located in the village, 10-15 minutes walk from the beach, in a quiet place with easy parking. The reception girl's attention is very pleasant and correct, giving us information about the sights.

Correct if you're not going to spend a lot of time in the room.

Only a 1 star establishment but our room was perfect. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, tv if you are Spaniards, AND a refrigerator. Very small, including the shower with plenty of hot water and pressure, and also included a small wardrobe. We found this hostal on a day when every other place we tried was completo. The room we got is inside, so very quiet and no natural light.  Clean, modern paint and tiles and immaculately presented. We don't understand the criticisms of the other reviewers. They are harsh, in our view. Competes favourably with most of the 2 stars we have stayed in on this trip albeit for size. I wanted to give this a higher rating except for one thing. In order to secure our room while sleeping, it was necessary to lock the door with the key. BUT once the room is secured, it is necesssary to remove the key from the door and insert the tag in a slot in order get light, power and air conditioning. In the event of an emergency exit, you would be in the dark trying to get one of the two keys into the door to escape. A serious security and risk flaw. Senora the proprietor has not a word of English so I hope I got this issue through to her.
