NH Collection Barcelona Pódium 

I stayed at NH Collection Podium in Barcelona with my sister for a special sibling trip, and the Guest Relations team made the experience genuinely memorable. In particular, Hugo was absolutely fantastic. Before we arrived, Guest Relations helped with our room preferences and everything was ready exactly as requested. When we felt our first room might be a little too noisy, they immediately showed us another option and made sure we were completely comfortable. That level of care continued throughout our stay. Hugo went far beyond what I would normally expect from a hotel. He actually sat down with us and helped plan our days, recommending local wine bars, cafés and restaurants that felt authentic rather than touristy. He helped us arrange a spa day, sightseeing and even last-minute restaurant reservations that were difficult to find online. He checked in with us every day and was always genuinely happy to help. We even decided to take a last-minute overnight trip to Seville and Hugo personally connected us with the Guest Relations Manager there so everything would be seamless. That was such a thoughtful touch. We were also surprised with lovely daily treats in our room, including pastries and flowers. As a GHA Discovery / NH Collection Titanium member, I have stayed at several NH Collection properties around the world, but I have never experienced this level of personal attention. Hugo clearly sets the tone for an exceptional Guest Relations experience! The hotel itself: The location is fantastic. It is only a couple of minutes from Arc de Triomf and within easy walking distance of many of Barcelona’s highlights. The surrounding area is beautiful, clean and full of great cafés and restaurants. We ended up exploring so much of the city on foot with Hugo's help of direction. The rooftop pool was another highlight. The views stretch toward the coastline and the pool and bar area were the perfect place to spend a few hours relaxing after exploring the city. We were up there almost every day! Coming back to the hotel each evening to a beautifully kept room, turndown service and chocolates on the pillow was the perfect way to end the day. Everything feels very well cared for, from the cleanliness to the little details. The staff are consistently welcoming and genuinely friendly. I have now stayed here twice, and NH Collection Podium has become my hotel in Barcelona. I would absolutely stay here again, and I really hope Hugo and the Guest Relations team know how much they contributed to making our siblings trip so special.
