Just wanted to say a big Thank you to this resort, I sent my friend who ran the Barcelona Marathon over the weekend and she was blown away by the receptive staff, Room and facilities. Thanks again and you will definitely be the choice of accommodation when in Barcelona. 10/10

Great feedback

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in February and loved it. The hotel staff spoke very good English and were very helpful and efficient.Our flight landed a few hours before we were able to check in however we left our luggage in the holding room free of the charge. We booked tickets to attend a very popular tour of Barcelona city through reception which they advertise along with other popular tourist attractions which was very useful. Rooms are very modern and spacious with great views. The air con was broken in our room which had it been the summer we would of needed to ask reception to fix it or move us rooms as it would of been unbearably hot. We used our 90 minute free spa visit which is included in the room price however they do not offer massage treatments even though they have pictures of massages and advertise treatment online which we found to be very misleading however we were mindful of the fact that 'spa treatments' may not be the same thing as in the UK but may mean the use of the sauna and steam room which we had access to. Taxi's into the city centre we decently priced at five to eight euro per journey. The hotel is also in walking distance to the marina which has a large range of restaurants and bars and the famous casino. We were very pleased with the hotel and the price we paid for it! We would stay again :) 

3 night stay

I stayed in Villa Olimpica for one night. Rooms are spacious and equipped with anything you need. There is even complimentary tea and coffee. Beds are comfy and the bathroom is really big :-)
However, the area in which the hotel is situated is pretty run down. Arriving with the metro at Bogatell does not feel very safe. And as the nightclub Razzmatazz is right next door of the hotel, the noise during the night is incredible. You have the feeling that you are sleeping in the middle of a train station and the noise will start around midnight and continue until about 7:30 a.m. So all in all my stay was not very relaxing...

Spacious rooms but ugly and noisy area

been their twice in the summer and my daughter loves it. clean and big rooms, nice pool, nice staff and a perfect place just 5 minutes from the center and the beach. in the hotel you feel at home, there is a spa and a sauna

great family hotel

Me and my girlfriend we just returned from three days in this lovely Hotel, the rooms are very nice and incredibly clean, like every other place in the Hotel, the Hotel stuff it’s very friendly and polite, special mention to the two receptionists Silvia and Berta, they were simply amazing... really great service, they really know what it means to give an unforgettable and positive experience to the clients... Breakfast it’s really great, so much choices and dinner was good as well even if there were not so much choices... another mention to Michaela managing the restaurant in the evening all on her own and still being very friendly and helpful, we also went to the SPA and that’s our only downside, to be a small Hotel their SPA was nice and various, but the water was really cold, on both jacuzzi and on the water beds in the pool the water coming out it’s seriously cold, if you leave your hand on the valves or holes you can really feel the cold water and this really ruins the SPA experience... oh and as well would be nice to add some chill out music in the SPA.The Hotel seem isolated at first but it’s really close to the Metro or Bus Stations and you can reach any important place in minutes. We were in general very happy with our stay except for the SPA and we will definitely recommend it, but not sure if we will come back.

Great Hotel

Very good rate for a 4**** hotel.

The room was large and comfortable with lot's of space, good sleep quality on the bed. Nice common area for breakfast with good choice of cold and hot food. Nice common common bar area for a quiet drink + book reading in the evening, both inside near the lobby as well as outside by the pool.

My room was right in front of the elevators so at night I could get noise as well as hear people chat as they were walking in the corridor.

The shower / hot tub is old with very dirty used sealant silicone near the glass box. The hot tub was broken in the middle, varnish had gone and rust was popping up. When I got into the room there were long black hair on the floor in the toilet as well as inside the hot tub. The following day they were gone and cleaned.

The hotel is in a suburn area, nothing around for a walk. Luckly there is the D6 pub / restaurant just in front. During day light time you can walk to the metro, it is about 10min on foot.

good hotel and room, very isolated location

Located not far from Glories and the beaches , but within walking distance to many attractions. Nice rooms and very friendly staff. Breakfast was average. This area is up and coming and the price of the hotel was value for money.
