Great food. Great beach.  Friendly staff.   Wish the beds were bigger and more comfortable.  Lovely terrace  Beach was clean and the water was warm
We saw lots of children enjoying the turtle pond.  Small hotel which was great for very attentive service

Location is the best part!

The restaurant is officially closed. The reception smells of cigarettes. Understanding I'd have to use reception to get wifi to access the Internet I'd head down most nights to do important work. The hotel was pretty quiet and the reception is 24 hours. This didn't stop the man working screaming at me in Spanish as he tapped his watch because it was 2am. I was being very quiet and was only sending emails to clients I had prepared in my room all that day. Was a bit bugged that there was a gang of older people who always seemed to hang around reception.

Every time I passed them I always said a friendly hello. But was looked at stupidly so in the end I just stopped saying hello. The housekeeper did a great job but just about everyday I was woken by the sound of furniture being moved or her shouting to her co worker on the same floor as they chatted. I didn't feel like a guest in this hotel. I just felt like I was there.

On the Beach.

We stayed here late July 2013 for just one night (we were all having drinks in Benidorm and didn't want to drive back to our house in Torrevieja). It was a great location, being just 75m from the beach, the place was basic yes, but clean, friendly and ideal for a one night stay. Two rooms booked, both with a little balcony, friendly receptionist, handy for the beach.  I simply cannot complain and as the title of this review says... 

What do you want for 25€ a night!!

Arrived 07/09/12 for my mates stag do, Turned up and thought it didn't look to good. And inside it wasn't brilliant but in fairness the rooms weren't great but it was clean i.e bed sheets were clean and shower.
To sum it up, it was a brilliant location,
right in the old town by the beach , and for a stag doo .. It was ideal.

Good location, great for a lads stay!!

5 of us stayed here from Oct 4th to 7th. Check in was no problem and we soon had our keys to the three rooms. 
Rooms are basic and dated but clean and tidy. Bathroom was ok, plenty of hot water, which I managed to flood half the hotel with when having a shower! The staff weren't too happy about it and there was plenty of muttering going on whilst they were mopping up but it was an accident.
There was also a vent in the bathroom which allowed us to see straight into the bathroom of the room next door if both were open at the same time. Luckily it was another two of our party who were in the next room but potentially embarrassing if it had been strangers.

We never ate breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on that.

The stairs and corridors are very dark as there are no windows. There are lights which you turn on and they stay on for a short while but they are not easy to find. This is something maybe the hotel could look at, maybe put a glow in the dark sign next to the switches or something.

The location of the hotel is its best asset, just a few metres from the beach and right in the heart of the old town. Plenty of bars and restaurants within a very short distance and plenty of shops around in case you've forgotten any essentials.

All in all, for what we paid, the hotel was fine. OK, it's not a 5 star palace but we only paid 2 star prices so weren't expecting muc,h but for a short stay it's ideal.
