A fantastic site in the mountains, although it was cloudy the views we could see were spectacular.  The staff were friendly, helpful and professional.  We only stayed a couple of nights on route to southern Spain, but we intend to revisit and stay much longer.  The site was also very clean with lovely warm shower rooms and hot water.  

A beautiful mountain retreat.

The scenery is breathtaking around the site, but the actual site is very mediocre, I wouldn't stay again. 
We ate in the restaurant and it was awful to the point of unedible, my steak wasn't fit for a dog, but charged over €20. The electricity cuts out if you put the toaster on, all in all not a chance I would stay again. 

Ist and last visit

Things I liked included the very high standard of hygiene in the toilet blocks, the frequent emptying of bins, especially pleased to see soap dispensers and paper towels available near the wash basins. The swimming pool is great with plenty of shade for those who need it. What I didn't like so much was the dusty bare earth tent pitches which were quite stony. 

Camping Gavin: A personal view

Well run, clean campsite in a beautiful location and with a wide range of facilities and activities (campsite restaurant and shop, large swimming pool, football pitch, table tennis tables and playground). We stayed for 5 nights and would happily visit again in the future

Pyrenees paradise :-)

We stayed only one night and we arrived very last minute. The lady of the reception was helpful and patient. About the camping, it is a more luxurious camping, the service building was clean and the size of the showers are big enough. There is a calm ambience on the camping, but the service of the guy that worked in the cafe-restaurant next to the reception was very rude. We had one parcel without any service for 52eu

Great motorhome stay

Excellent facilities and staff. 
The location is superb in a quiet secluded area with easy access to the roads and mountains.  

The Bar/Restaurant is good quality and value. 

The supermarket is very convenient and well stocked.

Happy Camper!

Nice clean camping, comfortable facilities. More people during weekends, table in restaurant is better to reserve. Excelente base for cycling both road or mountain bike. Not far from Biescas where most mountain bike trails start.

Nice campsite, ideal base for cycling aroud

We spend a week at Camping Gavin and had a great time in and around Biescas (accessed by 15 min walk by from the site by footpath) with day trips to the Pyrenees. The cafe/restaurant is good value although we were slightly frustrated with the limited gluten free options available to our coeliac son and the toilet need more frequent servicing.  Pool is adequately sized and well looked after but can get busy at peak weekend times - you can overlook this easily given the stunning views at the times you can easily choose to have the pool to yourself!

W/Cs and showers was good and clean but found restaurant/ bar on site big let down.. poor food and ran out of beers first night  location good especially for hiking and mountain biking .
10 minute  walk to village Gavin and half hour walk to Biescas town
