We had a villa with two bedrooms, a garden and a terrace. It was perfectly equipped. It was perfectly quiet at night. Only the wind is blowing in the palm trees. The view of the barranco is crazy. The temperature is also 6 to 10 degrees below that of the coastline. If you are looking for rest and you are not afraid to walk down the narrow street with about 50 snakes and curves, you will feel comfortable here. Pedro and his wife are very nice and we got very good tips for eating. Since I spoke Spanish, communication is not a problem, of course. But he can also speak English. The next stop is in Santiago del Teide. Unfortunately, the pool is closed.

Dreamy location in the mountain village of Masca

This accommodation is something very special because of its location at the top of the Masca Gorge! To get up in the morning and see the massive, huge walls of the gorge rising up on the terrace with the coffee in your left and right hands, you don't forget that so quickly. The view narrows to the west, a small triangle of sea is also visible. (That the gorge itself - even now - has been closed for over a year, honestly doesn't bother you at all.) The host is really very helpful and kind, the communication works on the left and right. The kitchen of the apartment is so well set up that we could easily cook for a week. On the way to the Teinka Grande Tenerife! We have therefore started to think that there is not enough room to get out of the gorge - even if the gorge itself is closed for over a year.

One look, every day!

Superbly built little cottage with everything you need if you are self catering. Well designed so that you can sit either outside on a balcony overlooking the mountain views or sit within a glased conservatory to get the views even if the weather turns windy.
Lovely facilities and this is the best place in masca for complete privacy and personal views of this amazing place. It is in the middle of mountains and there are a couple of cafes which close 5 or 6pm,  a church, a small bar and little souvenirs for sale. Tricky driving to as hairpin roads down the valley to this place, best to shop for provisions before leaving main motorway as it's a long way to walk to get things.
The owner of this cottage was lovely and very helpful and I would highly recommend to anyone who likes the outdoors, used to hill walking.

Incredible views from this mountain side cottage

Beautiful quiet location high above the Masca gorge with just amazing views as far as to the ocean. A fully equipped house with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and terrace with outdoor seating, all spacious and clean. Host Pedro is very friendly and helpful. A great place to relax, hike and enjoy nature. The unusual experience is to arrive in Masca by car on a very narrow mountain road full of curves. Unfortunately, the Masca Gorge was closed for tourists at the time of our stay, but this is not related to the excellent accommodation.

Beautiful remote location

We had come to Masca for a hike, but we didn't want to go down to the valley until the next morning. So we stayed here for one night and didn't regret it. The very friendly owner provided us with fresh towels and a lot of information. He also reserved places for us on the transfer boat for the hike. The double room includes our own kitchen and bathroom. For 40 euros a night, this is a super offer. There is of course WiFi as well.

Nice accommodation in picturesque surroundings

Very nice country house with all the comforts and above all a fantastic terrace with 360-degree views of the mountains and the sea in the distance. Little lunch and lunch on the terrace and sometimes even in the evening. Pedro's welcome is very friendly, he is in the small care with us and gives us valuable advice, restaurants, walks.... The price is very reasonable. However, no wifi, apparently broken! We really recommend this place.
