A little outdated but for the right price, they had a little detail with the kids and the staff was friendly, a balcony would be fine...we didn't see any more rooms and I think we didn't have a cafeteria or anything.

The hostel is very quiet, at least in the low season; it has a small terrace from which there are very good views of the harbour.

Right now I'm here and I can already describe it as a great place, very clean and close to the beach. Very nice the deal. Let's be very happy for Seville and I would love to return. I recommend it to my friends.

Stupidity is the result.

The hostel is fantastic. We are housed in a studio with 1 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining table and an incredible terrace overlooking the beach of San José and for perfect breakfast and dinner every day. The bathroom is spacious with the only drop of water coming out of the curb. It has a hand soap dispenser and shower gel. It is clean and the cleaning staff is ready for everything.

Hostel with sea views

We found ourselves here in the centre, convenient to get down to the village (2 minutes) and the beach. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. Spacious apartment, super bed, large bathroom, basic kitchen, quiet. convenient. Possibility of parking on the street. If you book for a short summer.

The rooms are spacious and clean with a great view of the beach.You should check in at the Hotel Don Ignacio, on the promenade of San José and you can also have breakfast there and use the pool.There are plenty of steps to go up, so if you're going with carritos or people with reduced mobility, it's going to be a bit complicated.The bathroom floor of the double room is not enough to keep the water out.

It's a modest hostel, no big pretensions but right. in high season, it's expensive, but it's what's there. The rooms are spacious, have a small balcony that is what gives life to the room, ideal for a drink or a romantic dinner by the light of candles contemplating the bay of San Jose.

Best of all, the views of the bay.

I have spent several relaxing short holidays in San José and this hostel is my absolute favorite. From upstairs rooms you have a magneficant view over the bay, and downstairs rooms have each a cosy little patio. Rooms are basic but with all you can wish for. Bathrooms are very nice with bath tubs. Only minus is the weak WiFi which makes it impossible to login with a laptop. Beach, amenities and little shops are 5-10min walk away.

Clean and safe hostal in magical surroundings

Our room was simple, clean and fresh, and kept that way. We were able to see and hear the sea from our room, with a lovely view over San Jose and the surrounding mountains. Sunsets and stars from the balcony!
    It is a short downhill walk to the beach, a bit of a stretch up after a long day. At the bottom of the hill there is an excellent supermarket to the right and two lovely and friendly cafes on the left. San Jose has many eateries, and we found the sea food excellent.
     Our one complaint about the room was the lack of a kettle and use of a fridge. To be able to wake up to a coffee or tea, and to have the means to chill cold drinks would have been perfect.

Sea view

The room was very spacious and had a small kitchen and front terrace. Everything was clean and fresh. The location was good, a little on the side from the beach and boardwalk. Observe though that you need to check in and out at their sister hotel Don Ignacio as this hostal does not have a reception. At Don Ignacio you could also have breakfast and use their pool at an additional cost.
If I were to come to San Jose again I would easily stay at this nice hostal again.
