Booked this accommodation for a 3 day mini break to Cadaqués and couldn’t be more thrilled. Yes the room was on the small side but not a problem for me. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the bathroom had a wonderfully powerful invigorating shower. Carmen and her daughter Caroline were extremely welcoming and couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was pleasant. Perfect location in a small side street just steps from the sea front. I’ll definitely be returning.

Amazing value

I had a wonderful stay at Hostalet de Cadaques, and would love to go back!

A couple of days before I was due to arrive, I received a very helpful message from the hotel, with an attached map for parking.

The location of this small - boutique, I venture to say - hotel is perfect: in the heart of Cadaques, on a quiet side street a few steps from everything.

My single room was compact, but cozy and tastefully decorated. The room had high ceilings and a large, shuttered window, so it was not claustrophobic. Everything was sparkling clean. The bathroom was shining, and although just with a miniature sink, the shower was wonderful. 
There is a working A/C unit, TV and WiFi.
No breakfast, but there is an unrelated, I was told, restaurant downstairs.

A true gem!

This place is real value for money. We were looking for a budget accommodation (having spent way too much in Barcelona) and this was about the only one available. When we arrived at this cosy little hotel, we were delighted by the cheerful decor of the room and all things cute and minuscule. The bathroom sink is tiny, toiletries come in small triangular packets, bedside table is petite, etc. The room might be small but the price justifies for it. And I wouldn’t really label this as a hostel. It’s more like a boutique hotel. The bed is comfy and the full length window opens up to a view of the street and Casa Anita, an authentic Spanish restaurant (see my other review). We came in October which is considered off season so the restaurants nearby were barely opened hence no noise from the streets. Location is great, just by a side street next to cafeteria Es Fornet (we come here for breakfast everyday). Cadaques is a charming little village and relatively unspoilt. Do check out the hiking trails and the nearby Port Lligat.

Value for moneu

Small hostel in the center of Cadaqués. Friendly check-in. The rooms are rather small but well isolated (double windows). Small bathroom with a small shower and sink. Rooms have a very tiny balcony (you can't sit there). Tv, airco and good Wi-Fi. You receive a bottle of water when arriving. No breakfasts but there are a few places in the village where you can get one. 

Small hostel, good location 

Cozy small hostel well located in the city center of Cadaqués. Very cleaned and helpful staff.
We booked two double rooms for one night. One of the rooms was very tiny with a small bathroom and almost no space to move around or store the luggage. We paid the same for both rooms. I really think that the small room should have been cheaper.
I recommend the place but make sure you get one if the big rooms if you have a lot of luggage or you stay more than one night.
I read about the noisy street but since we were there in September we didn’t have any problem to sleep.


Nice hostel in the city center

We found this hotel on the day we arrived. Very nice employee, small room and bathroom but clean and happy we found it on the day we arrived, during a busy touristy season. Only the street was busy and noisy especially on a Friday night, party lasted until 7 am when the city started to clean the street full of litter. Cadaques was a gem, this hostel is in the center close by everything, I am glad we found them via the tourism office. Sharing the entrance with the restaurant was no problem at all. They actually helped us to contact the manager of the hotel since we had no Spanish phone card.
