Rooms are very very basic...storage space for bags is non existent...layout is poor. The restaurant has basic offering and probably due to time of year the opening hours were not great. The breakfast selection and quality was very poor. To get boiled or fried egg it was an extra cost. Juices were all concentrated. The bread selection was also poor and selection of fresh fruit was basic. Nowhere to buy small snacks such as water, chocolate, chips etc. Check in process was an ordeal. The pool is tiny and is located away from the sun. The biggest issue we had as a golf group was trying to get the shuttle bus to the clubhouse and back with preference going to the Camiral hotel residents. The golf courses were great as was the selection of tv channels

Very poor accomodation

Hotel was nice not the best for large parties 12 would be the max probably as it doesn’t have enough staff to service the hotel properly rooms a little small but well equipped pool area ok pool small though 
Man in reception had to toke people up to clubhouse so slot of times nobody on reception for 10 mins at a time 
Staff were all friendly and did the best they could though would go back but not as big a party as there was 19 of us

The Lavida is a golfing hotel and a bit basic, if you want more than that there is another hotel on site but more expensive.  When I say basic, the rooms are very minimalist, ie one  clothes draw, four coat hangers no coffee or tea making facility, there are open shelves for the rest of your belongings.  On the upside the staff are very very good, my wife and I have nothing but praise for the personnel who work there, especially Abril and Marta who were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.  The room was cleaned and tidied every day to a very high standard, I am sorry I do not know the cleaning staffs names but they are to be congratulated.  As for the Golf all I can see is "Wow".  One thing I would like to point out to all golfers, if you require the use of a buggy ensure it is booked in advance either by yourself or your agent.  They only have 77 buggies and the courses are a hard walk.  77 sounds a lot, but if you take into account that the tee offs are at 10 min intervals ie 6 an hour which could mean 12 buggies for 4 balls, times that by 5 hours and your total is 60 buggies for one course and they have two very popular courses. I know it sounds exaggerated but I had to change all three of my pre-booked  tee off times and dates so I could get the use of a buggy.  I would like to point out that the staff in the pro shop were very organised and helpful with the problem, I did write down their names, but lost the bit of paper I put it on.  However I do know that they both have the same surname but are not relations, so I would be obliged if you would give them a pat on the back for me.  Regards Steve R.

A golfing paradise

The bed is exceptional, the staff very kind, the restaurant very good, the pool at the top, the decoration great, the resort is big!

It's a great stay.

We decided at the last minute to come and spend two nights in this hotel...the staff is very available very nice, with very little care, the spa and the massages are amazing...a real relaxation time! What happiness! Several restaurants which allows you to find your happiness and it is very good! I really recommend you come and spend a moment for my husband it was golf and I spa and message! Thank you to the whole team!

A must if you come to Spain 🇪

Our stay (only one night) was lovely, from arrival to departure. The hotel's setting and location seemed precious, as well as the tranquility it felt. We stayed for the last weekend, closed by season. I guess that's why the hotel was so quiet. We were met by Miquel at the reception, a very attentive and serviced guy. Worrying about helping us in any way we might need to add human value to the hotel for his great attention. The room was not very large but it was consciously designed and we didn't feel that space was lacking at any time. Very nice balcony. We enjoyed the views of the golf course. We explained the enormous spirit (although, to my liking, the pressure of the water was perfect).

 The ideal choice.

This is a custom built hotel for golfers who are not bothered about spending too much time in their bedroom and just want a decent bed for the night after a day of fabulous golf.  The rooms are a strange shape due to the curve of the building and are stripped of even the most basic luxuries, such as a mini fridge to keep drinks cold, or tea and coffee making facilities. But breakfast is very good (I recommend the scrambled eggs) and the coffee of an acceptable quality.  Staff are first class. All are very helpful and polite and, most important, friendly.  Miguel even drove us up to the clubhouse on several occasions in a spare buggy.  The restaurant is casual in the evening - pizza and pasta.  The clubhouse menu is far more varied and the ambience a lot more congenial. Fabulous golf.  Great way to spend three nights!

Excellent value and convenience

Good hotel for golfers! Rooms are simple but ok, very good beds! Restaurant simple food , pizza salads pastas ! Golf is excellent! Proshop great and restaurant in clubhouse very nice and good food,  nice terrace!

Golf

A few weeks ago I was with my wife and we really wanted to go on.In the evenings there was a good atmosphere, a good ride between the hotel staff and the guests, a special mention of Aziz, the restaurant manager, the superb pizzas, a lot of variety to choose from, a nice terrace for some gintonics.

Super well

In general my visit to the hotel was of only one night, but we express the maximum amount of time in the accommodation. While it is true that the staff is 100% friendly, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is little varied but acceptable. The restaurant (which only opens at night) offers a wonderful and quality proposal. Some aspects to be improved: * in the room there were ants. We accept this fact to be in the field but that aspect should be improved. * The pool can only be enjoyed in the morning and until 4 pm in the afternoon, because it is in the shade. Being a season of maximum heat, they should offer the possibility of being able to go to the swimming pool of the accommodation Camodiral cargo (below petition).
