Here again. Simply the best place we have stayed in. Fantastic breakfasts and all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. We were offered an upgrade to a duplex apartment at no extra cost. Everything you need in it, kitchen, balcony and great views. Football pitch opposite, so great to watch the games. Think about this place often and hope to return again next year.

Cool hotel,.

We highly recommend Rodeiramar 2A, by Playa de Rodeira. We stayed there for 16 days in July, 2023. The hotel was recently renovated.  The decor is bright and refreshing.  The rooms and apartments are clean and well furnished.  Many rooms have ocean views. Their breakfasts include delicious homemade tarts, rolls, cakes, and more.  The hotel is family owned, and the owners are gracious and accommodating.  The staff was professional and superb making our stay there delightful  The hotel is a few steps from the beach, located near restaurants, shops, and live entertainment during the summer months.  Perfect location!  Truly a lovely place with beach access for a fabulous vacation.  We will come again.  Nancy & Warren

Fabulous Hotel and Location is Perfect!

Visited here 5 times now, Merche and her family are so welcoming. The best breakfasts we have had anywhere in Spain. Volveremos! Perfect for visiting Isla Cies and Isla Ons from Bueu. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to experience a true Galician holiday.

The best;

We spent 2 nights in an apartment during a road trip around Spain. Communication before we left the U.K. was excellent. Unfortunately on the Friday afternoon we were due to arrive our car had a problem with its radiator. The hotel booked us into a nearby garage and accompanied us there to help with any language problems. A few hours later all repaired!

A fantastic family run hotel with an incredible breakfast! The family were so friendly and helpful it was a wonderful couple of days! A definite place to return to in order to explore more of Galicia and it’s wonderful beaches,  wine and food

As good as it gets!
Great localization! Near the beach and close enough to the city center and the passenger port. 
The room was very clean and cosy. 
The breakfast was amazing with an excellent choice of homemade pastry (and not only).

Location: just on the beach, near restaurants and facilities with a parc for kids just outside and the sea..
Staff: Diana is just the most amazing host ever!! So nice, kind, helpful!! Thank you
Room: It has eveything you need for great vacation (all facilities, snall kithcen, frigo,  microwave, washing machine laundry machine.. you name it!) All clean and cozy to make you feel home. 
Breakfast: homemade cakes, fresh orange juice all served with lots of love by the staff. Great experience!

Hidden gem in galiza

Myself, husband and 2 boys spent a week at Rodeiramar and could not fault it at all. We had a 2 bed apartment which was lovely and spotless. Breakfast was fantastic - the boys loved the cakes and I loved the café con leche!! The hosts are so friendly and helpful providing suggestions on things to do. Also the hosts allowed us to use the buckets and spades from the reception area for the boys to use on the beach which was very kind. Could not fault this place at all and will recommend to others. 

Cangas itself is lovely town and all the people we met we really friendly. 

I would totally return to Rodeiramar 2A. Thank you for an amazing week.

Great apartments

Lovely room with views of the sea. All the staff, from the owners to the cleaners, are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The owner booked our tickets for the ferry to the Islas Cies. The breakfast is delicious with different home baked pastries and cakes made fresh every day (the lady has her own baking show on TV so they are very good!). The beach is a minute's walk away. The owners have their own little boy so families would feel very at home here. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel -  highly recommend it.

My husband, two daughters and I spent a lovely week in these apartments. We had a two bed sea view apartment. It was really clean and had everything you need. The weather was very warm last week but there was always a lovely breeze here as the hotel is so close to the beautiful beach. It is a 10 min walk to Cangas along the beach. We took the ferry to Vigo one day and also visited the Isles De Cies. Cangas is a quiet town and very safe. Lots of nice places to eat. A small supermarket is just across the street and a larger one is located 10 mins walk away.The owners are very friendly and always available to answer questions etc. The wifi was good.

Lovely Hotel

My wife and I have just returned from a weeks' holiday. We have travelled extensively over the years and always willing to travel somewhere new. This hotel was a gem within a beautiful area with lovely people, beaches and food. We flew into Vigo and drove by car for 25mins to Cangas. Although the hotel was listed as 2 star the welcome, accommodation, location and service far exceeded this rating. This hotel is family run and they made you feel like part of the family. We got booked in by Franc, had breakfast prepared and served by Grandad which has fresh baking everyday. We later found out Merchi, I think Franc's wife, is a celebrity baker and her hard work tasted delicious. I was so impressed we are looking to return later in the year. I am that confident others will enjoy I have recommended to friends to go and if they don't like the hotel I would refund the cost. Well done all and hope to see you soon Helen and Ian
