Staff speak Spanish but try very hard to communicate.   The apartment we stayed in had everything you needed. Very roomy shower. Good location if doing the Camino. Close to a variety of restaurants.  Close by there is a pinic area



Near camino

This was a great find. 3 weary pilgrims were so glad to find this easily and enjoy the washing machine!!! 2 bedrooms and a gorgeous sitting area. Very close to the Camino Route and town. Highly recommend this as a stop on the Way

... they have air con in the room and working wifi!!! When outside is over 30 degrees and you are on the attic and the room is pretty warm, a fan won't do, sorry to say.
It's a shame because otherwise the self-contained studio have it all, including lovely decoration with great finishings and details. They is a massive double jacuzzi (we didn't use it, again because of the heat) that I'm sure it's a pleasure to use by tired pilgrims after a few stages of hard walk. Or just any visitor. Fantastic toilet too. 
The other big flaw is WiFi, almost inexistent in most of the room.
Tips: Avoid the top floor at all costs (second floor) if hot weather. If you have mobility problems, bear in mind they is not lift.
Again, not air con and extremely poor WiFi are unforgivable to otherwise great room not far from the centre.


It could've been a 5 stars if only...

I don’t normally rate hotels at 5/5 unless they’re fantastic and serve free food. While Tia Paula had no free food, it had so many other amenities and it was the perfect place to rest along the Camino. 

First, the room was huge. It was quiet and we were able to darken the room and sleep in the next day. There was a kitchen AND washing machine in the room. It was so nice not to go out and find a facility and wait for clothes to be done. 

There was a huge shower with a 2-person soaking tub. I just sat in the tub and let the hot shower run over me, removing 54 miles of cycling crud off of me. I slept so well. 

They even had bike storage. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed at this apartment when we were doing the Camino walk for 1night, this apartment was the best accommodation we had for the week,good size apartment with all mod con and a very big bath after the long walk,would highly recommend this apartment when you are passing through,lady also gave me the name of a great restaurant for our evening meal
