I was pleasantly surprised by Casa Caldelas. Yes, it is only rooms and a lounge but the positives far outway the negatives. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, excellent shower and very helpful staff. The village is quiet and within easy distance of a fine Bodega which was recommended for some Ribiera Sacra wine tasting.
Breakfast is the let down. Very basic and not a lot of choice.

Good value overnighter

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this place, but it is essentially a number of bedrooms and a visitors' lounge, rather than an hotel. There isn't any bar or restaurant, although these facilities are available nearby. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. So far as I could tell there are not any rooms on the ground floor and there isn't any lift. Breakfast is included in the room rate, but this is taken at a nearby bar.

Not really an hotel

We stayed one night while touring the Picos.  
Very good parking.  We parked our motorcycle on the street directly outside hotel, other parking is in the square opposite. 
Rooms are above a shop/studio in the centre of the village, we stayed in the attic, very clean, efficient air con, nice crisp clean bed linen, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water, and a small kettle and complimentary tea/coffee for making drinks, small fridge and a small T.V(should you need it).
Although facing the square surrounded by cafe's, bar's and restaurants, it's very quiet and we had a very good nights sleep.
No food is served within the Hotel but there are plenty of places open in the evening, and the breakfast is served at a café opposite, Fruit juice, yoghurt, toast, jams, cake tea and coffee, good service friendly staff.
Visit the castle if you get chance it is worth it and tickets are cheap, good restaurants around for food in the evening, the views across the valley are breath-taking, high above the clouds.

Good quality budget room

We choose to stay at this hotel on our way from the West Coast to the Picos. It was a very pleasant surprise? The staff was trying to speak English as good as they could, our room was actually spectacular on the first floor right above the entrance: not very large by clean and comfortable, and we could use a reading/seating area right outside of our room of we needed. Breakfast was at the bar across the street (same owner as hotel) and was basic (juice, coffee, toast, cake, butter, jam) but good. The night was quiet until some trucks had to unload at 6am.
Wifi did work as expected. But having had other experiences in other hotels, it's good to notice!
Overall we absolutely recommend to stay here if you are in the area.

Very good place to stay at a bargain

This is a small hotel in a pretty little mountain town.  The town is bisected by a highway, and a fair amount of highway & street noise could be heard in my room.  Also, the room did not have an individual air conditioner and it got quite hot the day we stayed.  All else about the hotel was fine.  Everything was very clean and the beds were excellent.  The floors are all hardwood and the interior natural stone and wood - quite lovely.  Try to get a room that faces away from the street and, if in warm weather, one with a large window that opens.  The town is small with some lovely old buildings.  I noticed some other nearby lodging establishments up the hill that might not be subject to do much highway noise.
