Beautiful location, calm neighbourhood, spacious rooms, clean, very good breakfast ! We stayed here for 2 nights. It's less than 10 minutes to Comillas or a beautiful beach by car. The hosts are very friendly !

Excellent 2 days !

We were travelling from north to south of Spain and this was our first stop. Whilst 5km from Comillas this was an added attraction as it is a healthy walk into a wonderful Spanish town. This small hotel had all of the traditional values which makes a fabulous experience for its guests. It is so clean it shines and has a country cottage feel from the quaint decor and china crockery to the starched linen and exceptional homely service. You are treated as a VIP from the moment you arrive. The food is superb and value for money it is 10/10. We cannot wait to return and share this wonderful jewel with others

A fabulous and homely hotel. Exceptional value

We liked this Posada Rural. Nicely situated in the countryside, friendly staff and good food, but the place is very difficult to find. We had GPS, but we end up in the middle of the forest outside Comillas, so we had to ask help from a local person to find it. It is best to take the road from Comillas towards San Vicente and after a while you see the sign for Posada Rural Rioturbio to the left.

A nice family hotel at the countryside

a clean comfortable family run hotel, we had the churleton in the restaurant, 1.4 kg of lovely steak that you cook yourself, the rooms are clean and ours was roomy with large bed and separate en suite, a quiet location a peaceful relaxing hotel.

Imagine the Spanish country home of your dreams - spacious, elegant rooms with dark wood spanish furniture, terracota floor tiles, sunshine streaming into the breakfast/dining room overlooking a picturesque valley; a log fire for cool evenings, lawn and terrace for sun and shade; comfortable spacious bedrooms with bath or  shower, but wherever you are it will be spotlessly clean.  A host and hostess who are friendly, warm and helpful and who quickly become friends - you have now imagined this Posada - and one visit to it, and to this area, will never be enough.  My husband and I stayed there with a friend and all three of us will certainly go back.  A wonderful, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable holiday.
