When we got to the room we heard that Manolo had organized a party with other guests from his cabin. He heard music and they were drinking something they called guay herb juice. I was on the first floor and they were listening to everything with luxurious detail. At 12 pm it was prudent and cut the party. But at 2 am we got up from the bed sober because right under our window there was a car with loud music. We sat down on the balcony to tell them to quit the music. The pilot went off and no one saw the other face but he was wearing the clothes that Manolo wore.

The worst of Cantabria.

We booked more than a month in advance, and on the way we called to warn us of our arrival time and they told us it was closed, that if they had forgotten to warn us and that we were looking for life, without explanation, or offered help in relocating somewhere else, that we were looking for life.

Poca seriedad / Poca vergüenza is not a serious issue.

We found the house full of telarañas, dirty and old towels as well as bedding.The doors of the rooms did not close well and in general the house was very poorly maintained.Nothing recommended.

The disappointing rural house.

A country inn framed in a special, natural and rural setting. The room without big flames but with charm. Regular heating and clean bathroom. Ideal for disconnecting a weekend or for taking advantage of espresso escapades. A great breakfast with coffee, toast, French tortilla and even cheesecake.Manolo's personal attention is all attention and kindness. We are eager to try his cuisine but we leave it for the next visit. Total recommendation 3 kilometers from Comillas and in the middle of a valley that makes you be in total contact with nature.

Acerto totally!

A beautiful and cozy place, in a very quiet environment. The wooden room, with heating and bathroom with all kinds of soaps and hair dryer. The lovely and very attentive owner.

This is excellent!

We had the ground floor double room, very rustic but also extremely clean and nicely decorated with a huge wet room. We had dinner, not much choice but oh my, how delicious! A goat cheese and walnut salad starter followed by hake steak and sauté potatoes, then the most light cheese cake. All washed row with a chilled cava. Ruisenada isn't the easiest place to find but once you have negotiated the little winding roads our sat nav had no problem.
If we are in the area again we would definitely return to stay another night. Our host was very welcoming and the local villages (Comillas) we charming.
