Conil is getting very popular these days, and hotels are putting their prices up accordingly. However, the lovely folk at Al Andalus don't seem to have to got the memo, and that's very good news indeed.

Conil's layout means that almost every structure over two stories has a fair chance of a sea view, and the same is true here. Better yet, there's a fantastic roof terrace where you can dry your towels, have a drink or a coffee (bring your own; there are no on-site facilities) or just gawk at the view.

The rooms are modern, with great air con, good showers and – hallelujah – a fridge to keep your drinks cold. The staff are charming and accommodating, and it's got a pretty central light well with plants hanging down. 

All this for a budget price, and it's a short walk from the centre of town. Forget the overpriced places on the sea front – Al Andalus is the real deal.

Unbelievable value

Parked up on the street outside and found the hotel clean, well designed and only a short walk to the town centre with all its attractions. Excellent sound insulation resulted in a good nights sleep. Good value for money.

Good 1 night stay

We can only say the stay at this great hostel made our fantastic break complete. We would like to say a very big thank you to all the very friendly staff for making our stay a perfect one. We will back again soon to enjoy the perfect accommodation at a affordable prices.

Our visit to the lovely Conil de la Frontera

We just returned from a sunny Conil de la Frontera where we stayed for 4 nights in Al-Andalus hostel. We were really impressed with the standard as it was more of a good hotel rather than a hostel. The room was really clean and comfortable with a safe and a fridge that turned out to be really useful. Ladies at the reception spoke very elementary English but they were really kind and helpful. The hostel is not that close to the sea though, you need to take a 15min walk through the town to get to the beach. We left the car at a public parking (a bit shabby) in front of the hostel but you can get a garage for 7euro per day. All in all, very good experience!

lovely time in Conil

Hostal is located with a walking distances to the beach, restaurants, bars. And its standard is comparable to many 3star hotels around europe I've stayed in. Very friendly staff, free good wifi connection, nice clean, modern and big enough ensuite bedrooms. I would gladly come back there.
