We spent 4 nights here. It’s not a Hostal no kettle, kitchen, or shared area apart from lovely roof terrace. We had room 103 with a balcony which was good for people watching. Situation is excellent but there is a lot of street noise. Very clean , we thought room good size and bathroom too.  We were there at a festival weekend but the road is a through route from Mesquita to the river for all traffic. 

Good stay , not a hostal , not particularly welcoming staff, good location ,noisy.

I arrived 10 minutes late at the hostel and found it all locked up. A waiter in a nearby bar kindly rang one of the phone numbers on the door and one of the reception staff returned to open up and show me to my room. This person later in the week proved himself to be a really "top guy" when he made all the calls necessary to have my mobile phone returned to me after I carelessly left it in a taxi. He allso made all the arrangements for me to join a trecking group that was walking in the Andalucian hills later in the week ; even walking me to the collection point to meet the minibus. 
My room. I was given the groundfloor room at the front. Everything about the room was faultless. It was cleaned and tidied every day, bed made and towels sorted ect. It had a safe which I didnt use and may have required a deposit.It did not have any drink making facilities.
There was a room on the ground floor which appeared to be a dining/kitchen area and some drink making equipment in the hallway.
My only negatives regarding the room were noise related, and this noise did not come from the street just outside my window as I had read to expect- but from the plumbing.. The sound of rushing water through the plumbing was loud enough to wake me on some occasions.And there were several occasions when it genuinly sounded like someone was peeing in a bucket in the corner of my room.
You allso get to enjoy the sounds of other guests love-making.
Nevertheless, I would return, I would still recommend.The hostel is in great position in the old town very near all the sites of interest. It is very clean and safe, and the staff were wonderfull.

Water noise

This small hotel is centrally located on a pedestrianised street near the mesquita and all the other historic sights. There is a warm welcome and the rooms are clean and very well equipped.The street is noisy in the early evening but our sleep was not disturbed at all. Breakfast is not served but there are pleasant cafes nearby.

Excellent small hotel in ideal location

Older property, some handicap accessible rooms.  About 2 blocks to the main mosque/church that is the reason most people go to Cordoba.  Family run; they live on the property.  I needed to catch early transportation and the owner woke me at 4:30 a.m and phoned for a taxi for me when I was ready to go.  Don't panic at step at the front door; there's a back door with ramp.

Super location

Located in old town, walking distance to bars, restaurants and all there is to see and do in Cordoba, the place surprised us, looks recently refurbished and had exceeded our expectations, left us wondering why is not a hotel, as hostels have somewhat negative connotations for most travellers. Santa Ana is excellently priced and presented, not your average modest, basic hostel, would recommend it for your stay in Cordoba. Just keep in mind if arriving by car to park at start of old town and cross it on foot.
