We’ve stayed here a couple of times and never had any issues, like other reviews state. 
If you do things right at your end there’s never a problem.
The price is “ you get what you pay for”, with a clean standard room with en-suite facilities, soap bar, shampoos etc.
We have eaten in the on site restaurant, which is ok, however their tapas selection at the bar is fabulous!
There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance ( unlike what one review stated, where they said they’re none!)
Another plus is the fact that the bus shuttle to the airport is directly opposite the hotel, and runs once an hour and costs 1.55€ per person!
All in all a good recommendation for that early morning flight home!

IDEAL FOR AN EARLY MORNING FLIGHT

Booked through Booking.com and had to cancel prior to travel. I was well within the free cancellation period. The hotel refused to refund the monies as it was the agents problem.  Utter nonsense.  Do not pre pay at this hotel as they will not refund

This was a quick overnight very close to Alicante airport for a morning  flight. The rooms are small and not stylish as we may be used to however it’s typical Spanish and we loved the experience. The staff were friendly, one on reception spoke English, if you speak slowly your understood and their English is 100% better than my Spanish! Clean hotel, excellent food and wine and they definitely took care of us but not intrusively. Private off road parking to the back so once you check in you’ll pay a small fee for the parking and they’ll direct you to a secure area behind the hotel. Very, very helpful and I found it you use your phone translator to at least try your hand at Spanish, they’re very welcoming.

We had a room with a courtyard view so no noise from the road 
5 mins from airport in taxi.
Ten mins walk from station from which you can go to Alicante 
Nice area
Highly recommend. Would stay again

Great beginning to a weekend away

On arrival at this hotel I did not have the credit card from which payment had been made. I would not see this as an issue as the payment had already been taken from the account. The receptionist advised it was due to security as he needed to confirm my identity. The receptionist refused to accept that my passport with which I had just passed through two international airports was proof of identity. I was advised that the only way to access our room was to repay with a card I did have on my person, and the original payment would be refunded. I did this as it was now past midnight and we had no other options. Having waited a week with no refund made, I contacted the hotel via your App. I have now sent them 3 messages, all have gone unresponded. Prior to my arrival they responded to messages within 12 hours. I note from other reviews of this hotel they have a history of withholding payments from customers who cancelled within the free cancellation period. Please beware if considering staying here.

Double Charged for a Shabby Room

Hotel was clean and tidy. Food was OK. That's where it ends.  The staff were rude. Actually every one in any of the shops near by were rude. As soon as they heard the accent they weren't interested. There were not many bars or shops in the area.  Luckily we were just staying for a night to move on to our villa.  Do not go here if you want to enjoy yourself. 

Never again. 

Having stayed here previously, we came again in May and it was okay, but we did not find it as comfortable.
We had another booking for the end of June, which allowed free cancellation up until 7 days prior to the day.
My credit card had been charged, in advance, for the full cost, not a particular problem as the hotel had done this on our previous visits.
Due to a change in our plans we cancelled the June booking in mid May and applied for a refund. The cancellation was confirmed by Booking.com and the confirmation said the cancellation was without charges. Despite several messages and a personal visit the refund has not been forthcoming from the hotel. They have ignored my messages and on my visit, the gentleman on reception said he was not authorised to issue a refund, it had to be the owner. Booking.com also tried to get my refund from the hotel but have been unsuccessful. Finally Booking.com have refunded my credit card, but it has taken 2 months. Beware!

A bad experience

This lovely hotel is very easy to find, , and very adequate, , Beautifully decorated, , very charming.  Our room was small, but you don’t really need a big room to sleep in!
The bathroom was lovely, , unfortunately when you are on the front of the hotel it is noisy, , and my only complaint is that the shower head is fixed to the ceiling, , so if you want a shower, , you have to wash your hair, ,

Over night

This was our first visit to this hotel but it will not be the last. We stayed in room 105, which was quite spacious, twin beds and a sofa, en-suite facilities, everything we needed. Slightly quaint and old fashioned but very clean and comfortable. At 45€ for the night it represents great value for money. We had a tostada and hot drinks for breakfast costing 5€. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to the airport.

Great for an overnight stay before a flight

Hi all stayed for one night last Thursday.Quaint little hotel great rooms and excellent showers.Staff were friendly and helpful.We ate at the adjoining restaurant which was nice.Great value.Will stay again soon.Sean Boyle
