Zaldu is a quiet B&B five minutes walk from restaurants and shops, but out of the hustle and bustle.
They had secure parking for our bikes cycling the Camino. 
Room had a small balcony, aircon, and was perfect. 
Our breakfast of orange juice and coffee, bread with tomatoes and omelette, was good value at €7.
Our hosts were lovely, kind, interested, and I'd have no hesitation to recommend

This was a great find

Stayed here before an early morning transfer the next day. The owner greeted me and showed me to my room and explained everything. I was mainly there to sleep as I arrived after 21:00.

There is free street parking outside although some of the hills are very steep, make sure your hand brake is working well!

Easy stay

A bit out of town but only a 15 min stroll to the plazas where all the action is.
Home run spot with super helpful owners.
Great brekky and a fab spot all around.
We even were given pick-up and drop off back to the Camino route. 

Hidden gem

Loved the stay here. We were offered a lift by the very helpful owner but decided to walk having got instructions form the tourist office and went via the lifts in town. as we discovered the easier way is the route that's suggested - or better still take the lift on offer. Beautiful place with lovely wooden furniture and a freshly cooked omelette for breakfast. Spotlessly clean and friendly genuine owners - highly recommended.

Favourite place to stay on Camino SJPDP to Burgos

This is an excellent B and B, modern, clean, and very comfortable. The host are friendly and very helpful. Lifts are available to and from the tourist information centre for pilgrims. Highly recommended.

Excellent B&B

I stayed one night here, with my daughter as we were walking the Camino de Santiago.
The rooms are slightly off the trail, but the owner picks up pilgrims and drops them back on the trail...a nice touch as the house is up a hill!
Our host could not have been better.
The house was spotlessly clean.beds very comfortable.Air confirming that worked!!
A terrace to picnic, sunbathe or smoke on.
I was directed to an excellent supermarket 5 mins walk away.. useful too.
We slept so well, then we're treated to a great breakfast...fresh juice, freshly made omlettes, home made cakes..all delicious and freshly made.
We were only there one night but left as if we had been much longer as we were so relaxed.

Like staying with your favourite uncle

We rang Pablo from the square where we arrived soaking wet and cold after a long walk in the cold and wet from Puente la Reina. He was a very amiable host with lots of information about the area.
Our room was lovely with a comfortable bed and excellent bathroom.
Breakfast was good with omelette, tostada, tomato salsa and lovely lemon cake - all home- made.
We would definitely recommend this place which is only a very short walk from the old town.

Very comfortable stay

Pablo was a very friendly host. The room (with balcony) and the bed was excellent too. The bathrooms were modern and new and clean. The breakfast tasty, homemade at a very reasonable price. We enjoyed meeting and staying with Pablo. If you are walking the camino check with Pablo about the best way as googlemaps took us over an unnecessary hill / climb. Pablo offered both pick up and drop off in the centre where the camino passes but we were really there to walk / hike
