Fantastic place, staff couldn’t do enough for you, they are very friendly and helpful, great atmosphere well recommended.

We did have one problem with our apartment, but the staff couldn’t really do anything about it, as it was down to the owner or the apartment and not the resort.

We booked appointments 171 for two weeks, it’s a fantastic apartment does want you want it to apart from the under powered electrics. 

When you were cooking on the two hob cooker, you couldn’t have the lights or oven on or anything else plugged in as the electrics kept blowing.

So you had to plan your meals when there was light outside or have a choice of what to cook first and eat whilst the other stuff was cooking.

Forgot about having the extractor fan on whilst cooking, as you would stand no chance of cooking anything.

If you wanted to use the microwave… forget it as it just kept blowing the electrics if you had anything else on, including the lights or tv or even charging your phone.

It’s a shame that was the only thing really.

If you are going to the resort just don’t book appointment 171.

When I went to reception they told us that it wasn’t the first complaint they had about the apartment, but it was out of their hands.

The resort highly recommend great swimming pool, free yoga on Tuesday and Thursday, great beach, 100% will be going back but not to apartment 171.

Very nice, cosy, clean and relaxing place! You feel the great atmosphere and freedom here. The reception staff takes care for you from the beginning of planning your trip there till if you arrive late, everything is well prepared you're welcome here. Despite some facilities was closed this time, this place is in our list to visit again. 
October is right time to visit if you want to see only couples there. Still great time at village and beach.
Besides village has fantastic location. In 1h drive you can reach most of places for views and adventures.  We recommend this place!

Great holiday spot

Wow! Fantastic place! Everything is perfect and clean. People very pleasant and friendly. Restaurant and kiosk for drinks and nice food. The pool area is great, jacuzzi and sauna nice extra. Even a gym. Strongly recommend 😘😘

Best place to stay in Andalucia

Third visit to appt 188 and this place continues to be THE place to head for if you like clothing-optional facilities.

The upkeep remains at a VERY high level and the grounds and gardens are simply superb.The gardeners deserve several pats on the back for sure.

We love appt 188 which we choose because it is simply stunning. The British owners obviously love the place too and continue to invest and improve it.

The pool is lovely it just gets rather warm as the day goes by so best enjoyed early, I visited daily at around 10am for the best water temperature.

Anita runs a wonderful bar and restaurant we only lunched there once but the food was excellent and the beer very cold!!!

Overall very good indeed!!

(Except housekeeping who did not open any windows so when we arrived the house was at 30 degrees AND failed to clean or change the linen during our stay).

Paradise on earth.

Our second visit, last year we went in late August, this time mid June, the grounds are definitely more colourful in June with the flowers in full bloom, the staff without exception are friendly and efficient, definitely less crowded than August, which does make the brasserie much quieter in the evenings, some might say too quiet.  As with the previous poster the one niggle is the group who think the lawn at the end of the pool is their personal property, they placed folded up chairs on the sun loungers to reserve them permanently, they were the same group who thought this area was theirs when we visited last year.  I doubt they ever use the loungeras for more than a couple of hours a day.

Relaxing and lovely

Our third visit to this wonderful resort, and it certainly won’t be our last.

The whole place continues to be immaculately maintained with beautiful, colourful grounds and pristine whitewashed Andalusian buildings. The pool is fabulous, beach bar and restaurant excellent and the staff unfailingly friendly and helpful. 

Those worried about their size and shape needn’t be. The demographic is primarily older and, whilst you do still see the odd bodybuilder type strutting around with their trophy wife or girlfriend, they are mercifully rare.

I do have one big complaint although I stress this is directed at a minority of guests or residents, and not CN itself. There is a prime area for sunbathing at one end of the pool which is adjacent to the jacuzzi, toilets and restaurant. For the entire duration of our stay a group of half a dozen truly selfish individuals “reserved” the sun loungers there by placing either their towels or deckchairs on them virtually 24/7. This was despite the fact they actually used those loungers for a handful of hours at most. I sincerely hope the site management take some positive action to deal with such arrogant individuals who think nothing of their fellow guests.

That aside, CN is paradise. I hope to be able to visit for many years to come.

Fabulous as always

We had a wonderful holiday at the resort. The facilities are well kept and the grounds neat and tidy. We were particularly impressed with apartment 95 where we stayed. It is larger that the others, whilst cheaper. It has 3 lovely, sunny, private terraces with views of the whole cost, the resort and mountains. It is equipped with everything and even a study if you have to work. The beach was clean and not as small as per other reviews. The menu of the restaurant was limited, but the service was good.

Great holiday and an exceptional apartment

We found the care of the site and the quality of the management to be faultless. Mindful of our waistlines we didn't want to stay in a hotel and eat hotel food, but self catering does require good shops. Here there's an Aldi and a Mercadona just across the road. It's a busy road but with a step-free footbridge across and reception even provides shopping trollies to borrow!

We loved the pool which was heated to 20-22C (measured) in late February. That's still quite cool so it was great to jump into the hot jacuzzi straight after. That is small though, and must get too busy later in the season. There is access to a narrow strip of beach and the sea, but sunbathing is really confined to your patio, the well-kept lawns, and the pool area. We found no shortage of sunbeds, though other reviews have said there's a shortage in high season.

A lot will depend on which apartment you choose. Ours (116) was excellent, well equipped and right by the sea. Others seem to be much smaller with little or no sea view. Going in February we worried there might be an extra charge for heating, but in fact the AC/heat pump was included. Also fast wifi and a large TV. We decided to join Netflix just for the holiday which worked very well, though the films we took on a datastick wouldn't play.

The site restaurant was a disappointment. Expecting Spanish mealtimes (famously late) we went at 19.30 to fnd they were almost finishing and had even "run out" of rice!! In truth they keep to Dutch mealtimes (famously early) to suit the majority of their clients.

Having Estapona close by is a real asset. We ate there a couple of times and visited four small museums and an art gallery. There's a local bus into town and a pleasant walk back along the sea-front - they were just finishing paving the whole way when we were there.

Many people seem to spend 100eu each way on a taxi from the airport, but there are service busses fro both Malaga Airport and La Linea, a short walk across the border from Gibraltar airport. We found them fast and punctual, though not very frequent. Another time we will probably spend a couple of nights for sightseeing in Malaga or Gibraltar before catching the bus.

A great place for winter sun

This resort has about 100 appartments and all are privately owned (as far as I know). The owners can then choose to live there year round OR to keep some tinme for themselves and rent out the remaining weeks or months, and the appts are serviced and maintained by the centre. The result?? A super clean place to stay and relax for a weekend or (better) a week or so.

I have stayed twice and love the place, I will return this year too.

Family friendly, dress or undress how you want, LOVELY place.

Excellent! The only review you need to read!

Mostly over 65 but that’s expected for this time of year.

This is our third visit, pre COVID, during (when we were allowed so don’t start screaming, was safer here than home, airport and plane both ways had only 20 people) and post (now) so we are very qualified to comment.

Just for interest first visit really busy, second really quiet, this one somewhere in between indicative of the state of the world at the time.

It’s not a hotel, it’s a small friendly very tidy resort next to the sea with apartments.

If you want a hotel go to one either side of CN, Elba is beautiful. We note that people stream out of these two developements to use the CN beach to get an all over glow. 

People we know who like their hotel comforts did have part visit in CN and other half in Elba, nice.

Restaurant (it is a restaurant) everything lovely as it’s always been, Kiosk (it is a ‘kiosk cafe’) great. Totally different from each other as should be expected. Food, drinks and service are tops in both.

Pool clean and cool, much appreciated as it 32 degrees high today.

Gardens and lawn almost immaculate and lovely to walk around.

Beach is FKK with volcanic sand, a little weed but on the whole very pleasant if you like beaches.

Hour walk for us to Estapona a beautiful Spanish town. Taxi back 10 euros.

Apartments : There are some very plush ones that cost €’00’s a night and others cheaper. 

As long as the weather is good (we have not had one cloudy day in all our stays here in September and October ever, you are not inside so the type of apartment doesn’t make any difference. If it is cloudy get off your … and walk into town.

Car to and from the airport arranged by CN €100 each way but they do send a limo!
