A little hard to find, but worth it. We were super lucky to get a semi private room as we were the first to arrive. Was just hoping for a bottom bunk but got 2 singles instead. Very happy. Spacious, clean, with sheets and blankets provided. Lockers provided. We opted for dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Boss Lady made sure we had plenty to eat. Felt like I was at home with my oma feeding me til I pop.
Washing machine €3 and plenty of space to hang clothing. Very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. Not much in the village at all. A total ghost town. 

Delicious and plentiful dinner 👌

Though hard to find because you have to walk all through town, this was a wonderful place to spend the night.  The owner was the perfect hostess- very welcoming and helpful.  We were lucky to get two beds separate from the bunk room which was a pleasant surprise. The owner cooked dinner which was delicious and breakfast the next morning early and plentiful. Not much in the town but this place is worth the stop.

Charming stop on the Camino

This is a positive review of this albergue however the town itself felt desolate and devoid of life... tired feet and cold weather prompted us to stop and fortunately we found a warm (though a bit cluttered) place to rest our heads ... I suppose no one intentionally visits Cirueña Spain unless walking the Camino to Santiago... in which case this place is quite nice.

Respite in town of ‘walking dead’

Sort day from Najera to Ciruena due to bad weather.  Very welcoming.  Owner also has Casa Victoria if you want increased comfort.  Staff were very friendly.  Food was delicious and the chefs appreciate a healthy appetite (no leftovers).  Large rooms. No cramped bunks.  Large bathroom.  3 levels. We were on the top floor = 3 staircases.

I would start with, if you are walking the Camino, don’t stay in Ciruena. Stay before in Azofra or after. If you do, then stay here. There is not much to do in Cirueña. Our double room was fine. Shared a bathroom with the bunk room. The Pilgrim Menu was okay. The manager had clearly had enough by the end of the Camino season but she was happier by the time we got to the evening meal.
