AVOID!

Absolutely appalled by the service at this so called 'resort'. Booked through Airbnb to be told they do not work with them, despite already having paid. No offer of an explanation, but on probing found out that they were aware that they were on Airbnb but had made no effort to remove thier account to avoid travellers paying twice; will need to seek a refund through Airbnb/bank. 

After having to ask if they had a room free, we agreed to stay the night (had no other option), we were given no guidance about the hotel, facilities, check out time, or breakfast times etc. 

Rooms were dirty; toilet stains, unclean shower head. 

Avoid at all costs. 

Unhelpful, rude, avoid at all cost

Myself and a group of friends stayed in this hotel on our first night (after arriving late in Spain) to start a kayaking trip down the river Ebro.
The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable with a nice balcony looking over the gardens and pool, there were lots of little items for your use, such as toothbrush, razor, soap etc.
The location is a little out of FLIX town centre but this meant it was very quiet and it had lovely views of hills which surrounded the hotel as well as the river Ebro.
The outdoor areas were clean and well maintained and the pool was a nice size, although if there were a larger number of people present it may get full.
Breakfast was a fairly informal affair and very relaxing with some cereals, cold meats, cheese, bread and yogurts available.
All in all a very nice (if short) stay.

Ebro Adventure

We returned to the hotel again on our motorcycle tour of Northern Spain, hotel is a very nice in a lovely location .
we arrived at 3  to find it closed until 5.30 so made use of the pool, when we really wanted food and drink, once checked in we were told that food would no longer be available during the day or evening unless we wanted a frozen pizza 
staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and plenty of it probably because there were only 4 staying in the hotel

Revisited

We did like the location down on the river Ebro and only just out of town We liked Flix as well nice little town The area is lovely and close to the coast so we had some really nice trips out from here 
We arrived at the hotel after a long motorcycle trip, but was unable to get food or a drink as the hotel seemed deserted. Flix was only a short walk from the hotel with some very nice tapas bars, we were the only people checked in for 3 days then a few more people stayed, Breakfast was adequate but not a lot of choice

Nice Location

The hotel had a rather clean feeling to it. The building and the rooms were ok, but there was no spanish charm. They were clean though. The pool is big and has a great view over the valey. This was a plus. When we arrived however (at noon) the bar was not open and the restaurant was closed during the day. When we came back from lunch, we had to ask the hotel staff to open the bar to get a drink by the pool. Breakfast was very limited (only some cheese and ham, old croissants). They could not make an egg or some bacon, which was disappointing. 
In general, a nice hotel for one night, but not to spend your whole vacation time.

Nice budget hotel, not really charming

We visited the Hotel while on holiday in the quiet town of Flix, with the intention of having the "menu de dia" at the restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though the language differences proved a little challenging. The restaurant is airy and nicely laid out, with a bar area. The menu had Catalan and Spanish dishes and there was  a bottle of wine included too. The food quality was excellent- We would definitely eat there again. The Hotel itself sits on a hillside overlooking the river Ebro and has nice views around, in what is largely still an agricultural area.
