Lovely family run hotel and its shows in the service and standards of the accommodation, restaurant and bar. We stayed here while house hunting in the surrounding areas bought a house nearby and this is now our local. We love the place and the satff.

Lovely Friendly Hotel

Call in here most weeks for a couple or 3 drinks. Service is friendly, food is top notch. Sundays can get busy. Staff work well as a team, this is a really nice family run business welcoming young and old alike.

Popular family run bar and restaurant.

This Rural hotel was clean, comfortable, friendly and good value for money. It is close to some beautiful countryside and 20 minutes from Baza. The food was simple and very good. The accommodation was quite spacious. Some travellers have complained about noise but we found it very quiet. We were at the far end of the corridor. 

No complaints

On a recent business trip to Spain with my son we happened upon this place, what a find. It is in the middle of nowhere but the quality available for very little money is staggering. It is not luxurious, but the tapas is excellent and the rooms are clean and well equipped.
Highly recommended for an overnight stopover.

Fantastic for the money

There is a dearth of good restaurants, in this area and although we didn't stay in the hotel, itself, this place was the nearest to our accommodation and we therefore ate there on two evenings. As always, my husband and I, who are vegetarians, found little choice on the menu, but having lived in Spain for many years now, we know to order the Spanish way and simply ask for what we want, rather than be confined to what is on offer. On the first night, this was received with little grace and our waiter gave more attention to events in the car park than he did to serving us. Our food was acceptable, but our friend's pork was not fully cooked and therefore not eaten. No questions were asked when the plates were removed. However, the following evening, a Sunday, there was a change of staff and the whole experience couldn't have been more different. Our waiters... yes, two of them.... were attentive, responsive to our suggestions and requests; even adapting the "free" tapas to our vegetarianism. All three meals were freshly prepared, beautifully presented and good value for money. These are not luxury surroundings, but the areas were clean and the place is well patronised by the locals, which is always a good sign.

Staff make the difference

Didn't stay in hotel but use the restaurant regularly.  Great food, well cooked and well presented.  Staff very friendly and the location is superb.  Bar food is also available and the tapas are great---

Whole meal was very good. The gazpacho I had was the best I have ever had. There were four of us and we all enjoyed our food. Also when we asked for another 2 wines they brought a bottle of excellent wine.
