We stayed here before starting our Camino de Santiago. We hadn’t booked but the owner was so welcoming and found us a couple of beds. We luckily didn’t have to wait for the showers as we arrived fairly late but I can imagine there would be a wait at common times. 
A small kitchen area with a coffee machine and vending machine. Comfy beds, nice sized room we were in, overall very happy. 

Great place to rest up! 

This albergue is really charming, my high light was the beautiful terrace that gives you an amazing view of the city. If you are travelling with friends or if you now have a camino family they have private rooms for 4 people and more. They offer a service of washing and drying but compared to all the other albergues they are a bit pricy. The Lights in the bathroom closes after 5-10 seconds and even if you put your hands in the air to create movement the captor doesnt pick up, it only picks up when you are standing. Also, the shower doors doesnt lock, they are swing doors which for some people might be a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Amazing terrace

Just what we needed to get a good rest before starting our camino.  Bunk beds, shared toilet. Facilities were clean and comfortable.  Property is on the camino road so it's where you will see all the pilgrims pass. Breakfast and other meals you may easily get just outside the doorstep.

Clean and Basic

This was a good stop for our group of 6 on Camino in Oct 2017. We had a room for 6 set out in bunks. Room cost €60, €10 each so very reasonable. Albergue was clean with good showers and well set out. Like any albergue/hostel it was a bit noisey so was glad to have my earplugs particularly as church (with bells) was close by.

All 6 cyclists in one large room with bunk beds.  Facilities good but hostal not full - might have to wait for showers if busy??  Directly on the Camino route in the quaint part of the old town so very handy but Sarria itself rather drab.  However restaurants in the old quarter very good as is the atmosphere.

I was able to make my reservation in advance at O Durminento on booking.com. With my bed reserved, all I had to do upon arrival was pay in cash for my stay. O Durminento is located on the Main Street in the old part of town right on the Camino. Judging by the number of albergues on this street, there is both the demand and a competition for pilgrims in Sarria. As this is the starting point for pilgrims walking the last 100 kms. into Santiago, it makes sense that I found more albergues here than in other similarly sized towns. The O Durminento was an excellent choice! As it turned out, there were only three of us in an 8-person room the night I stayed. Facilities are both modern and clean with a friendly, helpful staff. The albergue is located close to a number of eateries and cafes on the same street. Without a doubt, I'd stay here again! The good reviews of O Durminento were not exaggerations.
