Spent 2 horrible nights in "villa nr2" before cancelling and changing. One of the best private views but the good part of the experience ends there. Horrible sloping road, stuffed parking place, ANTS, zero internet, rotten fluid in broken jacuzzi and MOLDY WALLS! Beware with allergies.

Room of doom

When you arrive you will find a group of traditional houses that will make you feel like you really arrived in the Canary islands. It is located in one of the most virgin parts of Tenerife but you won't feel isolated, the famous 1000 years old Drago tree is just minutes away. The attention to the details is amazing and you will have true privacy here, as the owner is very discreet as well as the staff. Rooms are well equipped and clean, there is WI-FI as well.

As rural as it gets.

This place has an unique atmosphere, a good vibe that is hard to explain. 
the house we had was cozy and warm with outstanding views. The owner were very nice to us , and totally unobtrusive.

Great and charming place

Be warned that this place is very run down & in need of serious money to be spent on improving the facilities.

We should have read the reviews more carefully and taken heed. It is a private business run (not a commercial hotel business) but by an aggressive man who seems to be milking the business.

You will see from our photos that it is very low grade.
The description states 2.3 km from Garachico centre which is incorrect, as you will see from Google maps screenshot it is over 8.0km by car. We would not have booked a place this far away from the town, so misinformation as well as low grade.

Yes the views are fantastic but that does not compensate for broken wash basin, rusty bath, broken toilet seat, ants in the bed and swarming around the kettle and work top, cups with chipped edges.  Radiators only turned on at our request rather than in anticipation of our arrival in 10°C weather. Water never became hot at all. Outside garden furniture all rusty and with paint coming off, it should be replaced. Electric fan in bathroom not working. Bed sheets were grey and worn and should be replaced. Mattress obviously old as it sunk in middle. Rubber or plastic sheet underneath bottom sheet, as you would have for incontinent people.

Be warned that in the winter the temperatures and weather on this coast are nearly N European.
We foolishly paid for our two week stay on arrival and before we could understand the awful conditions. 
The owner was not interested in our comments and became aggressive with shouting and was unwilling to listen to our observations. His body language was quite threatening.
No client sympathy or customer facing skills.
Had this been a commercial hotel or business we might have had some hope of compensation as they have a reputation to protect. We lost over €900 with no recompense as we had to leave after two nights.
We booked via Booking.com who were very unhelpful as they are only middle agents with no control over descriptions and standards. In future we will only book reputable hotel style places via them. 
This apartment,No 4, was not fit for purpose and we guess the other apartments are similar.
It was quite obvious that no checks had been made on our apartment as the sink was actually broken, toilet seat broken, ants swarming from front door and loose wall sockets, fan heater not working.
What a rip off.


Think twice before booking this place.

We have been staying in several places in the 2 weeks we spent in the Island and this was the best. It had great views and loads of charm,clean and quiet.

Definetely a very interesting place and location,would totally recommend.

The best place we stayed in our vacations

This really is a lovely property with fantastic views and very good value for money. The entrance up to the property is very steep but our hire car coped. The only negative point were the VERY noisy dogs in the surrounding homes. They barked throughout the night and day. We ended up buying ear plugs. Such a shame as it ruined a very restful and idyllic setting, along with our holiday. If the owner can sort out the barking, I would have give this a much higher rating of 4 out of 5.
