We stayed 2 nights whilst skiing in Sierra Nevada. Positives were the hotel was clean, comfortable and warm and the food in the restaurant was reasonably priced. However the lack of hospitality from the owner was astounding. He did not smile during our stay or attempt to make us feel welcome in any way, in fact we felt as if our stay there was a big inconvenience. At the end of our stay I paid the bill by credit card but noticed that the owner had charged the card in sterling, not Euros, and had not asked me whether I wanted to pay in pounds. Often in Spain when you pay with a British credit card you are asked whether you want to pay in £ or €. If you choose £ you get a poor exchange rate and high commission charges so I always pay in €. I asked the owner to cancel the transaction and I would pay again in €. However it took a great deal of arguing and me refusing to sign the credit card receipt before he eventually cancelled the transaction and I paid again, this time with me having to keep hold of the card machine whilst the transaction was completed to ensure I paid in €. Incidentally, although the ski slopes were very busy, we were the only guests staying in this large hotel, which says a lot.

Clean rooms but no hospitality

We arrived hoping to find a cozy hotel. We found a receptionist-waiter who was always pissed at us, didn't speak any English. WiFi not available, while in the booking page it was promised.
The bathroom was't that clean.
The restaurant is average quality, but slightly more expensive, portions are huge but you're not told so, so you order way more than your stomaches can afford.

An unpleasant stay

incredible how unfriendly people can be. 

The dinner room is cosy with nice wood fire but the waiter is arrogant and unfriendly and he is the owner.

I dont even had my food because i will never give more than 1 star if ppl piss me off in a restaurant.
