basically beachfront on the rocky coast.  nice big rooms with seperate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living areas plus individual balcony - i asked for a got a room up high with fantastic ocean views looking out onto the volcanic mountains of Tenerife.  my only disappointment is that the walls between the apartments very thin and next my bedroom was the living room of the next apartment i could plainly hear the people talking and also their TV came thru quite loud.  i was by myself so i just put one of the two single matresses (that made up the double bed) from the bedroom of the floor of the living room but that was a lucky save because i was travelling solo.

great but beware noise from neighbours

I booked this hotel in December 2017 on a non refundable basis, for a 3 night stay in February 2018.  Two days before we were due to arrive we received an email saying that our reservation was being cancelled, despite the fact that we had booked on a non refundable basis.  However the hotel had "found" us alternative accommodation at the same price.  Needless to say the alternative accommodation was nowhere as nice as this apartment and on investigating further, it turned out that this lesser quality accommodation was owned by the same people as own this hotel - and that the reason for cancellation was "overbooking".  Given that we had made our booking months beforehand, I struggle to understand how this could have been an overbooking and find the fact that they just happened to have alternative accommodation available somewhat suspicious......
We ended up frantic and stressed, on the phone at 10.30 at night to try and find somewhere else to stay in just over 48 hours time,  Inevitably this new hotel cost a lot more than the original booking and was not in our preferred location.  To add insult to injury, the hotel did not refund our credit card as promised and it was only on checking our credit card statement on return from holiday that we realised they had not given us our money back.  When they were chased to make the refund, they said they had not done so initially due to a "mistake".....

Think twice before booking here....you may end up without a room at very short notice!

Location of property is very handy travelling to the airport. The design is smart with private units built on ascending levels, each with a frontal view of the sea, and the sea is so blue!! The roof top pool is just amazing and we truly admired the nice cactus gardens! We had Apt. 4 which was spacious, bright and had a super big terrace! We checked in after 10pm but Ana was enthusiastic to welcome us. There was a large bottle of water, fruits and wine, all complimentary which was thoughtful! Will try the Thai Massage service next time. Do ask for a lower level unit if one has mobility problem due to the stairs, but the view on all levels are beautiful!

A couple things to mention for improvement:
1) Bed was rather small for 2 adults. Would be nice if it is at least a Queen size and there is enough room to fit that in. 
2) We didn't find any on site laundry services, which would be helpful for longer stay.

Best choice in Los Cancajos!

Ana did an incredible job of welcoming us.. She even drove to help us to find our car rental place. The location is perfect for exploring the island and set up with incredible views of playa de los cancajos. The pictures don't do it justice, looks far nicer in real life... It's a short walk to the beach and seemed roomier than most of the other hotels in the area. The place was clean and welcoming. The roof top pool serene and quiet. Compared to other prices of accommodation in the canaries, it was a good value find. There was only one English Channel on the tv, but it seems they have few English speaking guests. It's tough to complain when staying at a place like this. Definitely a gem. I would recommend it to anyone. We needed to buy toiletries for the bathroom.. Only a minor inconvenience though considering. In fact, I could stay there for a month if it was available.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else

We stayed here end of January with our 12month old boy and loved it. Anna takes care of everything. She is lovely and very helpful. She picked a 2 bedroom apartment for us with lots of room for a small family. On arrival we found a baby crib with mattress and bedding for the baby, a highchair and even some toys in the apartment. We didn't even ask for all this so this was definitely a very nice surprise. The apartments are very well equipped with nice decks and views. It's very close to the beach and restaurants. The complex consists of only 8 or 9 apartments which is nice. There is a lovely pool on the top level of the complex. We will definitely stay here again. This is by far the best choice with the most character you can get in Los Cancajos.
