La Vall d'en Bas

The owners, Laura and Joan, have taken great care of us and have not hesitated to answer our doubts and to provide us with all the information we needed about the Vall de'n Bas or Garrotxa in general, even via whatsapp during the day. The hostel is well located, very close to Olot, a half hour from Besalú and an hour from Girona. The breakfasts are delicious. We usually had a cake and a madalena, as well as toast, tomatoes and sausages from the area. To drink we preferred the natural orange juice, but there were other options. We stayed one night, 18 cents per head, and it was also really delicious. One is always that you had something suitable for the menus of the children's bed and a little sleeping room. The first thing that happened was that the room was filled with milk, which was the most adverse, so we recommend that the children could stay in the first place of the room.

Pleasant stay

The owners Laura and Joan, are very attentive to their guests, recommend visits, bike tours, which is what we went to do and very kindly went to make a custom plan so that we circled the road as little as possible and this always with little traffic. Thank you for your plan and your directions. He is also a bicycle expert, mechanic and guide. He can arrange a customized route, by the area you want. What about Laura, he took great care of us so that we reparted the excursions, with a delicious homemade kitchen. He even does this. The kitchen, cakes make the ceramic pans with which he used to serve her. If you note that you do it nicely, is fine. At the time of the tour, there is also a refreshing room for the outside, where you can get to the bathroom, but there is also a small bathroom for children, although there are also two small rooms for children.

Thank you Joan, Laura and Marc for taking very good care of us, we have felt at home: amazing and abundant home food, good company and an unbeatable atmosphere!! We are looking forward to returning.

A perfect place to relax and disconnect.

In general, the room has been right, the owners are kind and give you good advice.The house is clean but could improve the smell of the towels, the smell of the wet.The shared bathroom with the child's diapers and full of trinkets.The proper but poor breakfast, lack of variety, the last-day dinner only had one dish to choose from, although the products were of high quality.

The correct stay

I enjoyed my stay in the woods because the food was homemade and their hosts helped us find beautiful places to go.We saw two waterfalls, two volcanoes...In the country house the room we were in was very nice.It's ideal for going with children as they have a playroom and can collect the eggs from the chickens.
