Stayed at the hostel for 2 nights.
The staff are great - friendly and helpful and provide a lot of great trips for things to visit, see and plan day trips from madrid to nearby towns and cities.

The washroom facilities on the individual floors are ok - the single use ones are not the greatest, but the larger facilities on the 3rd floor are better and seem more regularly maintained.

The wifi is decent, not the greatest throughout.

Service on the other hand is amazing, the kitchen is maintained well, the luggage storage area is a boon to travel around and leave your luggage stress free even after you have checked out.

Great Staff, Facilities are ok

Booked this hostel as I saw the rates are on a bargain. Check in was fast but the staff were a bit less engaging. I love how the RFID key bracelets work . Simple breakfast is also included which is ok, cleaning staff are also friendly. There are available PC´s which you can use although some of them appear to be not working well. Rooms are average and may possibly have a bit of 'antique' odour probably because of the closed rooms. The cleanliness isn´t very good though and they tend to leave some of your things out of the spot where you originally placed them. Overall it´s still ok and isn´t bad for short stays if you are visiting.

Not bad at all

It was a great experience for all our officials who attended COP25 and stayed at this facility, the staff excellently attended to us and ready to help when needs arises. We salute the management and staff. Gracia!

Excellent staff, low price accommodation

This was a nice place to stay in Madrid mainly due to its great location. The rooms provided a decent sized locker for a large backpack however the beds were a bit dodgy and unsafe given that there was no rail on the top bunk. The rooms were stuffy and there are very few bathroom amenities (one toilet/shower cubicle on one floor and three showers/three toilets on each of the other two floors). Wifi was slow. Worth the price, would stay here again. 

Value for money hostel

I really like this hotel, it's cheap yet provides good quality stay. There are different kinds of rooms, the ones with bathroom are probably more comfortable if you're staying in peak season, but I didn't have any issues using common bathroom. The breakfast provided in the hostel is nothing fancy, but

Nice hostel for a short stay in the centre of Madrid

Location wise this is perhaps the best place to stay in Madrid. Staff is great. My dorm room was bit small and stuffy for 5 people. Breakfast is ok. They have free bag storage. Wifi is good. Walking distance to all major sights of Madrid. 

Great location

The Hostel was GREAT! It had everything you would ever want in a Hostel: air condition, clean showers and toilets, a kitchen, FREE breakfast, friendly personnel and even Sangria at 9:30.
The price was awesome for what the hostel had to offer and I will totally come back when I am in Madrid again. There really was nothing to complain about!

Great Hostel!

The owner of that place obviously loves money much more than his guests: very good location together with friendly staff doesn’t overweigh the scary conditions of the interior. 

All walls are covered with cracks, two different shower rooms also have cracks (see the photo), a pink sofa near the kitchen is in VERY poor condition. 

The water tap 🚰 in the kitchen is SO MUCH covered with rust. The stairway should have been repaired like 2-3 years ago. 

One of the benches on the 2nd floor is creaking and shivering SO much. My bed was also creaking even if I would slightly sit on it. The locking safe for valuables looks SO old and is severely covered with rust.

The pictures in that hostels are of very bad taste. I’m not an expert but they look just awful... - one of those pictures were made of heads of strange non-attractive people attached to the painted bodies - seems like that nonsense was made by a middle-school kid with some psychological problems. 

I’m sorry to give this hostel such a low mark but thus I want the owner to stop just harvesting money and make some good repairs cuz this hostel has a very good potential.

Friendly staff but lots of unpleasant things

The hostel is ok: it is cheap, quiet and easy to reach. Also, the receptionists were really helpful. However, the rooms are not very clean. The breakfast food was distasteful and the dining hall was dirty.

So-so

The hostel itself is in a perfect location; plenty of restaurants around and close to most attractions. However, the bathrooms offer little to no privacy and the water in most showers was ice-cold. Disappointing breakfast. Air-con provided in all rooms, which is really nice. We got what we expected from the cheap price for this hostel in the middle of the city.
