Mavi, the owner of Sonos Del Jalon, is an amazing woman.
She turned her dream into her work. 
Mavi has hospitality running through her veins in a way I have rarely seen before. 
All on her own she runs this beautiful small hotel. 
Her warm welcome includes a proud explanation of the house that used to be a windmill and the way she obtained it.
At the back of the hotel there is a very nice and cozy terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner. Below the terrace Mavi has her own vegetable garden. Also here there is plenty of room to sit relax and enjoin the silence and the sounds of the small little river. 
The dinner that she prepared was simple but surprising. Gorgeous and healthy with spices and vegetables from the garden. The accompanying wines were from the region and absolutely terrific.
The rooms are comfortable and large with a good bed. Our bathroom had a spa bath.
This place is a bit in the middle of nowhere. We came across it driving through France to the south of Spain.
Having experienced this little piece of Heaven on Earth next time we are a bit in the area we will certainly make a detour to come back.

A little piece of Heaven on Earth

This little hotel is an absolute gem for travelers looking for a great experience filled with charm, comfort, authenticity and true Spanish hospitality. 
The village where the hotel is a little one completely off the beaten path. It hasn't been prettified in any way. It is neither commercial nor touristy. It is just real and authentic. And this is exactly where Mavi decided to open her hotel, which is her house and where you will be offered a warm, kind, professional, efficient and honest service.
The room we had was spotless, very spacious, with a very large bathroom too and with a seating area. The wi-fi worked perfectly and we slept like babies.
There's nothing like being in the hands of the owner of a hotel and this is where this place stands out the most as this is rather rare these days but immensely appreciated by modern travelers. We were treated like friends or family while enjoying an excellent service based on professionalism and efficiency. 
The common areas of the hotel are comfortable and very cosy (you are in a home at the end of the day and you can tell) and the terrace / garden is a little oasis of peace and relaxation with a river going through it. 
Then, the food! We arrived late and we asked Mavi where we could go for dinner and she suggested a few places letting us know at the same time that she could cook for us! She starting mentioning simply delicious dishes that she could prepare for us and our faces started to glow with happiness. Where else do you get the owner of a hotel to prepare home-made food cooked with the freshest ingredients and served in an idillic setting? Dinner was simply excellent and Mavi was a fabulous hostess. We strongly recommend this place to people looking for an immersive, non touristy experience in a comfortable small hotel run by somebody who puts all her love, enthusiasm, effort and energy into making her guests feel comfortable and happy. Thank you very much indeed Mavi. We will never forget our stay in your hotel.

True Spanish hospitality. Amazing experience!

We booked this place along our trip through central Spain. Very nice and absolutely clean room, so lovely breakfast in the terrace, served in real time. The owner is friendly, kind and gave us many suggestions about the area.
Overall, a perfect place for spending some time, that unfortunately we did not have...only one night!

Perfect!!!

What a great place, we arrived late as our plane was delayed and the owner had absolutely no problem, she even made us omelet’s for a late night supper.
The house is extremely clean and has a lot of fantastic trinkets to admire

Stopover 

Simple gorgeous, cozy, beautiful, lost place. You must stay here. Tiny village. Fantastic accomodation, worth the money. Nice breakfast included. Perfect with dogs. Easy access from A2. Free parking. Inland Spain medieval towns near.
