The staff is friendly but lacks ventilation for so many people and bathrooms, because there are two showers for 20 beds and also people from the street who also come to shower, and don't go in August because they are at parties and the noise is unbearable.

Very little recommended.

Mariano's attention is brilliant. COVID measures are very strict and make you feel very safe. You are placed between beds. Comfortable beds. There are two bathrooms and more showers outside. It includes bakery and toast for breakfast, but the coffee is paid for. We went with dog and very well. And disposable sheets and blanket. Very central and a stone's throw from the road.

A good place with PERRO.

Considering the average quality on the Camino de Santiago, quite below. First of all, huge rooms, with 14 people, without a single place to hang something (small-sized countertops where nothing fits), street noise, little heating, few plugs, paper walls. The reception is at midnight and no longer the time to check out, fair cleaning, few bathrooms and showers for so many people. No saunas, no towels, put breakfast included and the coffee/colacao is a pay machine, practically no service to the pre-gregino.

Al minimum.

Easy to follow signage as enter town on the Camino decSantiago. It is on a Main Street but quiet inside. Power lift from street level. Open most of the day and evening. Isabel is a gracious hostess as is the man who works with her. We never got his name!! Isabel helped me with laundry and gave us directions to the local church. There are laminated maps of ATMs, buses, grocery stores and restaurants. The man called a number of albergues until we found one open and then got us to the bus stop! Later when we had left a pair of hearing aids he spoke with the next hosptalier and sent them on by Post. They were there when we arrived at Pedrouzo!

Our stay was perfect, no problem with the dog, we were offered a blanket and a snack for her, we had a great time, hospitals very attentive, good facilities and very clean.

Perfect for pets.

The shower rooms are insufficient (3 for 20 beds), as are the bathrooms (only 2).The cleaning could be better, as could the air conditioning.The kitchen and laundry area are also insufficient.As very positive points, say that the staff is friendly and willing to help you in any requirement.The location is good and central.

I felt like I was at home having a good breakfast and a cheap snack.

I highly recommend it.

On the road to Santiago, melide is one of the few city stages with a lot to offer. You can choose, choose another. The structure is barbed up on a ladder, which should already discourage you after more than 20 km of walking, and is completely free of windows. There are 20 beds in the castle, and two bathrooms + two showers. The shower was cold and tiny. They have a phon. The beds are not only uncomfortable, but the single-use sheets are not standing (bleah). It's not true that there are lamps for every bed (but there are natural lamps).

Don't stop here.

Unfortunately, this year we suffered from a lot of heat on the Camino, and in the hotel there is no air conditioning, no windows and only a small ventilator, which does not cool the hotel that was full of pilgrims.

Too much heat.

Opposite the plaza de Melide is this small but cosy hostel.Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, laundry and dryer.It also has a cafeteria although no early morning service.
