Stayed here for a few days with my wife 
The reason as stated in the headline
' Lovely place to stay to avoid the masses and enjoy the clean mountain air'

The room was lovely and spotless
The owners and staff were awesome and really friendly

It is lovely to sit outside and enjoy a coffee or drink

Lots of amazing places nearby including the local village

highly recommend this pension and visits to the Cabo de Gato and Agua Amarga, San Jose etc. a must

We came here for tapas. They didn't have Tortilla (Spanish omlette) but they offered to make it. They made a whole tortilla! The staff said that if we didn't finish it, then we were allowed to take it back to our house!
The service is very good and I would definitely recommend it. 🙂

Great food and helpful staff

Great roadhouse between Carboneras and Mojácar Playa: basic all-inclusive menu (half racion or full racion) of grilled meat, fries, salad and an amazing aioli, plus some tasty home-made desserts. Lively family place with quick and friendly service. If you like meat you won’t be disappointed! Beats most of the places along the beach stretch for its honest fare at a good price

Great hotel / restaurant just within walking distance of a beautiful same spanish village.
Great family run business.
Food so good we ate here both nights.
Staff / service just great.
Would highly recommend. 

Amazing Sapalmo

We visited today 21/3/2019 ,   yes a lovely restaurant in the hills, if you like your food all in one go here is the place to eat. Lovely salad on the table, asked what we would like to eat and drink and the soup was put down , soup half eaten and the main course was put down then ask what we would like for the  postres  no thank you just coffee.   So salad un touched , soup half eaten because of the rush I couldn't finish the main course as hadn't time for the food to go down.  To be fair the food was lovely .  We arrived at 3 if they had finished serving we would have like to be told not rushed through our meal.  Spoke to our neighbour and they said they had the same experience last week. and PS    no lovely lamb chops

We go here whenever we want to have a great time and the best lamb chops I have ever had, there is nothing better than a a carafe of local wine with chops , it is a heavenly experience, a must do if in the area on holiday.

Friendly greeting and attentive staff. Comfortable and clean rooms in a lovely rustic setting. 

We arrived late but were offered freshly barbecued chicken and salad. Breakfast on the terrace was also lovely.

Last minute booking en route from Mar Manor to Costa del Sol

Sonia and her family really make you feel welcome the rooms are clean and airy with plenty of space the food in the restaurant is excellent and great value. just outside of the hamlet . great for a relax or go for an explore the nearby town of Carboneres proper Spanish
