We chose this hotel for its location, right in the town centre, and it was a great choice.

The Staff are very friendly and helpful, and offer good service.

The rooms are nice, well equipped and very clean.  

During the lockdown, as a resident, you can have a meal (and a drink) between 8-9 pm, which is a bonus as everywhere else closes at 6pm.

Only downside for us was the pillow, for the double bed it’s the Spanish single type, we prefer a pillow each, which you can get from reception.

Great location, good find

We were in Morella for 3 days, to enjoy the local "single tracks" of the area, riding our mountain bikes and decided to spend two nights in this little hotel, in the heart of the town.
The Best, certainly: all staff. The rooms are very clean and pleasant, with a decor blending the modern and the old, with a very comfortable bed and a proper bathroom.
The Breakfast: more than correct. The food of its restaurant, between which a wide range of typical local dishes: delicious.
Maybe the minor inconvenience, it's when you'll need to charge and discharge the baggage and the bikes, in the middle of the street, but the rest makes up fully.
Let me say just three words to define the stay: Fantastic, friendly and will return.

Great Stay in Morella's ancient town

Stayed one night after driving from Barcelona. Rooms small, clean & staff friendly. You can drive up to the front door to drop bags (then a lift makes getting to the upper floors easy) then parking is available next to the town walls (a few hundred meters away). Bars and restaurants a very close by, as is the castle at the top of the hill - well worth a look (last entrance was at 7pm).

In the heart of old town, clean & modern

It's located near the center of the village, just under the Main Street.

Nice, clean and modern. The room was tiny but comfortable. Crew really kind. Good relation quality-price. We really recommend it. Breakfast was more than sufficient. 

Cute place

Good clean reasonably priced small rooms. The bed was a little firm for my liking. We had a small balcony and good air conditioning. We had a two night stay and had dinner in two very good restaurants. We also did a drive around the surrounding villages. There are several interesting drives you can do as well as cycle. Parking is a problem as you can’t park within the town walls. There is a large parking area at the top outside the castle. My tip is to pack a backpack and leave everything in the car if you are driving. Just take your valuables with you. There are lots of steep stone steps in this village so if you have mobility issues it could be a problem for you. The breakfast is very generous but it is the same breakfast everyday. Very common in small hotels.

The food was not right. We took the recommendation of the woman from the charcuterie and honey shop thinking if a local likes it then we will. We got there to find her charcuterie was hers and that's why it was recommended. My friend had "soup of the day" and it was as if they had a cat aviary out the back weening the urine out of them straight into the bowls. Vile. The main a plate of over cooked "confit" (deep fried) duck legs that where tougher that the sole of mine and my friends flip flops together. And then for dessert "tiramaspoo" not great in fact disgusting. All in all a delicious meal yummy. Highly recommend to no one.
