We spent our first few weeks here in Murias de Paredes. We also spent a whole week in the north, escaping the heat of the South, as well as to disconnect a little bit from the world, and how grateful we are! We decided to stay in Urogallo for its good location, since many mountain tours can be made around, through the counties of Babia and Luna. We did rural tourism for the many small towns that are around here. Also not far away is the port of Somiedo that communicates with Asturias and is beautiful. On the other hand, at 1 hour or so you can also visit León and its cathedral, which we fell in love with. As for the places to eat, in the Murias de Paros there is a bar, although we used to stay here, where we used to serve before the holidays and there is no doubt that Olga is a very lovely person.

Acogedora and warm rural casita.

Very well connected with places to visit in the area and many charming sites such as pools and viewpoints, ideal for family fun without any complications and spending a few days off the routine, I could not have chosen a better place to spend my holidays in this strange year.

Perfect family days.

My wife, my son and I have occupied a small two-bedroom apartment with bathroom (without kitchen) that was phenomenal and at a great price! In addition, El Urogallo is nestled in the heart of the Biosphere Reserve of the Omaña and Luna rivers, an exceptional area for nature lovers.

We arrived in this lost village after a long day of walking between Burgos and Leon. At first we were a little hesitant because we thought we had arrived in an uninhabited place, but instead we discovered a small corner of peace lost at 1250 mslm at the southern border of the Cordigliera Cantabrica in the Reserva de la Biosfera de Omaña y Luna. The Rural House is very beautiful and quiet. The manager, Olga, is very friendly and available: she gave us useful directions for some excursions, accompanied us to see the small village, recommended the place for dinner and the different fisherman prepared us an optimization.
