Our last night on the Camino, this hotel was by far the worst. It was dirty, dark & noisy and rooms so small you couldn't move around without bumping into someone or something. The shower was so small that one of our fellow travelers described it as feeling like you were being sucked into a pneumatic tube used as drive-thru bank windows. Glasses in bathroom were filthy as was bathroom counter top. But no one was on duty after 4 pm so we couldn't complain much less get new ones.
    Breakfast was less than basic. Coffee and a large piece of toast.

Dirty and exceedingly small

We were the only guests in the hotel Habitat Cm Muxia on 21.12. and had to call a telephone number for check-in. After about 5 minutes the lady appeared at the entrance and we could check in. The rooms were neat and clean. After a short time we noticed several stings on our body. A short look under the blanket in room 202 showed the cause. Here there were bedbugs. Since the animals had already sucked blood, these left ugly blood traces when crushing. After a call to the phone number the receptionist came back to the hotel, took pictures of the bedbugs traces and we got a new room next door where the shower door was already broken. We checked the beds and found it to be okay. After going to bed we noticed new stitches, also in this room there were bedbugs again. On our calls at the emergency telephone number nobody answered any more. We spoke several times on the answering machine, but nobody called back. We immediately took a shower, packed our things airtight so that we could wash them the next day at 60 °C and left. In the supplement, this hotel denied everything to our travel agents that we would not put up with, as we also have pictures as proof. From the location this hotel was very well situated, also the interior is in a very good condition. It is absolutely incomprehensible for us from the hotel side to ignore this infestation with bedbugs and thus negligently endanger other guests. After a complete elimination of the problem by the exterminator, this hotel is certainly recommended again, for us it was a dead loss, we had a lot of trouble, a night in the car and additional costs.

Bedbugs in hotel rooms

We booked 3 nights at Habitat Cm and had been travelling around Europe for months and this was the worst customer service we received on our trip. After our first night we requested to cancel the remaining nights due to excessive noise. The noise was going to continue on to our following nights, and we are travelling we could not comprehend no sleep for three nights. The receptionist was aware of the issue but instead of trying to assist us she advised that we must pay for the three nights even if we check out. Terrible experience for 2 travellers from the other side of the world and very bad for tourism in the region. Unfriendly staff and the manager refused to speak with us. No apology, nothing. Would never recommend.

Never written a review until now

Perfect location when arriving on the Camino.  Great service at reception, friendly and helpful.  Plenty of restaurants nearby and close to get to the end point in walking distance. .  Room is clean though small

The proprietress is very friendly and helpful.She also makes really good apple cake!

I booked this pension online from Santiago without any problems. I had booked two nights but decided on three when I arrived and this change was made with no fuss whatsoever!
