Staying here I was in the center of Nerja. There were numerous shops and restaurants as well as a selection of beaches. My room was adequate with a kettle, hairdryer, small fridge and bathroom. It was on the inside of the hotel so if I stay again I will opt for a superior room. Garden outside was open during certain hours as was the reception. Their main hotel around the corner could help with anything else. Cleaned rooms everyday and the staff were great.

central location

The website photographs are very misleading. Our cannot access the lovely hallway/ vestibule or the gardens as these appear to now be a separately owned and not part of the package you are booking. The letting rooms are accessed by a small door leading o a dark and dingy staircase and the rooms at best are no more than adequate but are probably OK for the price.
Do not expect access to the ground floor level of the building as you will receive a rude and very arrogant tirade from the occupier.

Don't believe the photos!

Arrived within booking in time & was able to leave our bags at the Mena Plaza as the  hostal had no reception at the time of our visit . Was pleasantly surprised when we were able to go to our room. The room as  clean,  the bed was very comfortable & we had  a small en suite . The only negative was a small shower but it was nt a problem for me just my partner ! However the icing on the cake was an incredible size balcony with fabulous views of the garden & the sea. We were provided with table & 2 chairs outside & 2 sunloungers . It was just heaven being able to sit out there with an early cup of tea looking out to sea . Such a bonus having a kettle & quite a decent size fridge in the room . We will definitely be back . 

Exceptional hostal

This was wonderful. The place was clean smelled great and had amazing views. The room is right in the heart of Nerja and perfectly located around shops and restaurants. The price is also quite fair considering the location and ease of getting to the beach and shops.
