These apartments on the beach are clean, affordable with fantastic views. Julia, the office manager, was extremely helpful, pleasant and responsive.  I highly recommend staying here if you'd like to be just steps from the beach.  Thank you Julia for all your help.

GREAT location on the beach

We stayed for a few nights, and although apartment itself was ok we were situated above the main door which banged all night and the apartments marble floor and old furniture meant we also heard what sounded like someone dragging furniture around from apartment above at night. This meany we had some of the worst nights sleep I have had. We did ask for a move and mentioned it but unfortunately no other apartments free.

Noisy

We stayed  here at the beginning of lockdown.  Julia was very accommodating and  helpful. She kept  in contact with  us / and was always  on the other end of the phone if we needed to as anything.  We stayed in  a seaview 1 bed  apartment . I must  say it was a perfect  spot/ room. Washing machine/ iron,Ironing board/ hair dryer/ fully  equipped for self catering/ sun  in the balcony  all  day. Large  baloney  also. We look forward to staying again when  the world is back to  normal.

Lockdown

(+) Perfect location, right on Burriana Beach. Very quiet, with shops and restaurants right downstairs.
Not amazingly clean, and cleaning services every 4th day.
(-) Very basic amenities, so make sure you bring your own if you plan a longer stay.
Also, everything seems dated (the sofa, the furniture, the bathroom) or almost breaking (our toilet hangers broke when we hanged our towels). The entrance door doesn’t protect any of the hallway sound.

I think the apartments some upgrade & they would be perfect. 


Holidays

This is our 3rd year staying at HC Burriana Playa. The location is just off the beach with amazing sea views. The apartments are extremely clean with a private pool on the roof terrace. Restaurants and shops on the doorstep but not noisy at all. The whole atmosphere on Burriana Beach is nothing but idealic. 
Julia Mena was extremely helpful and nothing too much trouble. She made the booking so easy and communication was speedy and first class.
So good in fact, we have booked already for next year.
I really cannot recommend these apartments enough.

First Class Location and Service!

Excellent location overlooking beach with great selection of bars and restaurants right outside the door. Apartments basic but have everything you need with plenty of space and very clean. Staff really friendly when checking in and very helpful with special requests. Will definitely return!

Great place to stay!

The apartment was nice, with a big terrace. The layout of the apartment was nice with sliding doors out to the terrace both from the living room and the bedroom. Hard beds with blankets, not duvets. And the curtains a bit worse for wear. And yes, the toaster was of a kind I thought authorities had forbidden since 1949, but here it was, and it looked brand new - the kind with "open" elements, very dangerous. The kitchen space was small, hardly any workspace and there were few contacts. So had to put the waterboiler to one side and balance it near the sink, while the coffee was "gurgling" in the perculator. The toaster then used near the sink too, with caution of course, but.... this needs improvement. (so not 5 dots here, and I give 4 because of the friendly service + location)

10 minutes walk to the town center, be prepared for a couple of steep hills. But once they are "over and done with", one is practically in the center.

Ask in advance if there are basic things like pepper and salt, coffee filters, some teabags, etc. Our apartment was totally empty. As usual in rental homes we had to buy a spatula and some other small kitchen utensils. I mean they had a slotted spoon but no spatula. There were 3 fryingpans, 1 big and 2 small. 

We bought pepper, salt, oil, etc. We have rented many places, so a few things go in the suitcase as standard: lemon press, garlic press, coffee filters for the first few days,. a sharp allround knife and those ice cube bags (these are common in Norway, at least)

The staff was so friendly. We mentioned to Gustavo that it would have been smart with some hooks in the small hall, and after less than 2 hours, a carpenter came and fixed a small shelf with some hooks! Until then, we had coats and stuff on a sort of bench in the living room itself.

The bathroom was ok and spacious enough, with a working shower (not a given) - but only 1 slim, glass shelf for our stuff. It would have been nice with more shelves.

Burriana Beach feels like a small mini village on its own. I preferred this to the town center, although Nerja is small and cosy.The beach is big, it is so nice. We were there in November and felt like we had the beach to ourselves. It was us and one  psc. of Chinese masseuse who turned up from nowhere (do they smell tourists from miles away... or sit in some tower with binoculars...?) 

On the roof there was a small pool and sun chairs allotted to each room - smart! (No fights then..)

I can recommend the place. There are 2 ok restaurants there too, a tapas place and another one run by Belgians, a more French-style restaurant - very good, with excellent mussles.

Great location. Close to the beach. Quiet (in November)

Stayed for 6 nights in this very good apartment with excellent view of Burriana beach. Flat roomy and well equipped including lift. Checking in was easy using key box by front door.  Excellent wifi. Agent nearby every day except Sunday.

Very good beachside apartment

Absolutely fabulous place. Booked direct with Apartments and Julia was so so helpful with information in advance. She arranged our taxi from the apartment and the taxi driver had our key and showed us where the apartment was as the office is closed in Sunday. There’s a rooftop terrace with a  pool with a fabulous view of the sea. It’s literally a few mins walk to the beach which is so chilled. Lovely shops and restaurants nearby. Quite quiet at night (we were there in June - apparent it gets much busier in main summer hols) It’s only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Nerja which has more restaurants and shops. It’s a lovely place and would definitely recommend a visit there.
