We were robbed, staff refused to call the police, which was very noticeable, so I read another review with exactly the same case, and we could have saved ourselves the vacation if we'd known that we'd be stolen some 3,000 euros worth of walking sticks afterwards.

A nightmare vacation, never again

I can't quite understand the partially bad reviews. We are in Mallorca (not necessarily the destination for those seeking peace) in a 2-star hotel at a dumping price, but expect a rich breakfast buffet, absolute peace and a personal servant? So really... The hotel is simple, clean, very close to the beach and meets all the requirements of a 2-star hotel. Not more, but not less. Absolutely ok! The staff is very friendly. Probably not forever annoying tourists with overwhelmed unrealistic expectations.

Whoever expects a 5* hotel is wrong here.

The hotel is not worth 5 stars, which makes room care desirable. Hygiene is also not greatly written, despite complaints this deficiency would not be corrected. You have to be aware that the juice like cocktails itself has to be paid, is not included in All. Outside you have to pay for the pool / beach towels for the rent of 10 €, it is a shame. These are not worth 5 stars.

Assessment

Although the hostel is very simple, which you can imagine in a 2-star hostel, the staff was very friendly! The breakfast was simple but fine! The location on the boulevard is well known before booking and has its advantages as well. The downside: the walls are made of paper, unfortunately you hear everything that happens in the next room and when the cleaning service starts cleaning in the morning, it's always connected to a lot of polter, which you can hear through the thin walls unfortunately very noisy.

That was absolutely nothing!!!!

For a two-star hotel, it's perfectly fine. It's clean, every room seems to have a balcony. Based on previous reviews, we've brought a multi-box because there's only one. We don't need a TV, we're actually out all day. Breakfast is available and for the little hungry, okay. But for the price, you can't expect a buffet either.

For two stars, fine.

The hotel has a beautiful location: on the central promenade street of Paguera: Bulevard de Paguera. 2-4 minutes walk to the sea. Next to the bus stop to Palma. A room with a view was booked, the view was, but not to the sea, but still great. We got a side three-bedroom (on two) with a very large balcony. The side room and it did not get direct sunlight, so during the day the room was not heated and was always comfortable (not hot) and there was no lack of air conditioner and ventilator. In the bathroom there is a towel (not for 2 people). In the room, the towels are cleaned every day. Responding staff (all around, I will tell you tomorrow).

Cozy mini-hotel 2 steps from the sea

The room was regularly cleaned. The international breakfast was included in the price we paid and was satisfactory. The position was ideal, very close to Peguera beach and boulevard, and relatively close to Palma de Mallorca (you will need to either rent a car or take the bus to reach it).
On the other hand, the furniture is old and there is no fridge in the rooms, although they have been recently modernized. However, there is no air conditioning in the room, so you have to leave your windows open and the noise may be sometimes an issue, particularly at night. We were often woken up by the garbage truck collecting bottles and glass very early in the morning.

It's not bad.

Hotel Katya is a reasonable small hotel located on the central street of Peguera. The hotel is about 50 meters from the beach and you have tons of bars and restaurants in walking distance. During the day and night their is a lot of noise from the street.

The bedrooms are very basic, but they do get cleaned every day. Breakfast is very boring, don't expect much from that, just some bread and stuff to put on it. (No Fruit)

If you are on a tight budget, this hotel may suit you.
