Excellent food, great service, very good wines and great food. Highly recommend! And very good prices. If you are in the area this is the best option.  Is a very familiar restaurant, the owner are two brother.

Road Trip

Good hotel for a stop over. My husband had staying in the area 10 times previously but this was our first time as a family and at this hotel. 

On arrival the lady unfortunately did not speak any English (I would never suggest this as a fault, as I am the visitor its up to me to try and speak the local language) However a little forward planning from the hotel itself could have helped make the welcome feel a lot more welcoming . We were eventually given a room key but no directions to find it. I assume this may have been due to the language barrier. I found another member of staff who was very helpful and took us to our room. 

Room as basic but clean , no air con but 2 large fans. Other rooms seemed to have air con so I am not sure why we had to go without as it did not seem full but apart from the noise from the fans we managed ok. 

1st morning we reported a blocked sink in the room but this was sorted out by Lunchtime after we spoke to the Owner who was charming. His english was good and we had a lovely time taking with him.

Evening food was OK. We ate both evenings at the hotel. Breakfast I am sorry to say was a real disappointment. Little choice and the language barrier meant communicating was nearly impossible.

Overall: Good, practical, clean hotel, charming owner. This hotel could be something really special it just seemed to lack a little sparkle.

2 Night Stop

We stopped there in our way to Monasterio de Piedra. 
Very easy place to park and perfect to choose to have lunch inside or outside.
The bar attendant were very kinds at all moment and explained perfectly the lunch options.

What to say about food? was really home made food, really tasty and quick.
Best option to have a pit-stop :)

Nice lunch

We stayed here for 1 night after visiting Monesterio Dr Piedra. We thought the ambiance and quiant setting was great. The rooms were large and very clean and we loved the  simple seating areas where the 4 of us could sit, relax and enjoy each others company after a busy day before dinner. We are in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Cost us approx 90 euros for lots of food including wine. Breakfast was good, suited us , although may not suit big eaters. Highly recommended. Would stay again - too cold to use the pool though.  

Lovely quaint hotel

As it's pet-friendly we spent a weekend in the middle of November. It's very close to the Stone Monastery, which is not pet-friendly :( . The place is very warm and inviting. They have a big on site soil floored parking a little unconfortable in muddy winter. The rooms are quite austere, just the basic. Our room's electric heatting was terribly noisy although it was effective and the hot water was  also good. We had dinner in the restaurant, simple and good. Not a varied offer of dishes but O,K. A little expensive if you consider the helping served. They have a very nice fire place lounge area where you can have a drink after dinner. Breakfast was also O.K.

Off season weekend to visit the Stone Monastery

As we wanted to pay a call to Stone Monastery Park, a gorgeous place filled up with astonishing waterfalls, incredible caves and superb spots where nature has created a unique area of water and quietness, we stopped and spent overnight is this hotel just a stone's throw away from the park.
We don't know why but I can imagine that our room was the last one to be given as it was at the end of a corridor and at the very corner of the building. The fact is that just as we got in we felt the temperature was not the same as in the rest of the establishment. I reckon the heating of our room was turned on just minutes before we checked in and being the room quite ample and with a high ceiling it took all our stay to warm it up. Good to inform that the temperature outside was somewhere near zero degrees.  Thank God there were spare blankets kept in a cupboard!!
The bathroom was complete but only one person could use it at a time as the space to move inside was quite limited.
The food and the service was fine but there was a little drawback. It's something that's not new for some of us. It's the quaint character that, being probably the owner, loves to order everyone, staff or customers, of what to do and what not to do. It gives a bad impression and surely the workers would like to stuff him away...
So, if you don't mind the cold, this a right place to be if you're visiting the phenomenal Stone Monastery Park. Logically, with a two-star rating you can't expect luxury.

nice but cold

I can higly recommend this hotel. Lovely cozy clean  rooms with a beautiful view to mountains and the river, TV and great bathrooms. All facilities are vry clean. Have been ther for a reunion with my friends and we was surprised how lovely and friendly the staff is. The breakfast has everything, Eggs, scrambled Eggs, fried eggs, beans, fruits, cereals,crossaints, fresh orange juice etc. In front of the hotel is even a playground for children. The swimming pol is big enough to swim some rounds.
I definetly come back next time when I am in Zaragogoza.
